They play much more in tune without Trae. Just the offense is hit or miss. Tonight, they making their shots. Other nights, brick house. With Trae, the offense is FAR more consistent.
The biggest difference is its not easy to Pick on no one off the ball and since LA is also a drop coverage team like us, we know how to exploit it.
Everyone is playing well tonight and the effort is so good tonight
Let's not pretend like they didn't just lose to both Portland and Utah. There's a LOT of time left in this game.

Heck yeah Wes!

The Hawks are taking the fight to the Clippers on their own court. Clippers look a little rattled.

Bruno almost brought the house down
He's playing really physical down low on both ends.

Jazz had a good scouting report. They knew who to leave open.

0-5 is a very real possibility for this road trip if they lose this game.

Thank goodness JJ is back.

Walk it off Hunter.

Sketchy challenge Quin. Mathews was barely outside the line.

Man got cut and still came back to practice and everyone was afraid to tell him to leave lol
Miss that dude
Indeed. There were times when the Hawks really needed a certified goon. Guys like Ivan and Solo are a necessity for a finesse team like the Hawks.

Great start to the road trip guys.

Not a lot of urgency from the Hawks going after that rebound. Not a good look.

This was supposed to be the "easy" game. SMH.

He's not really showing glimpses either.
Yeah, he's borderline unplayable at times. He was so explosive in the G League. Now he looks like he's lost his confidence.

Scoot looks REALLY bad. I thought his experience in the G league would've given him an advantage during his Rookie season.

It's easy to see why we did it though. Arthur Blank isn't getting any younger. I'm sure he said 'get me the best QB that's available to us right now' and they did.
Pure desperation. Couldn't afford to go into next season with Ridder at the helm. He clearly needs more time in the oven. The Falcons easily win the NFC South last season with even an average NFL QB.

Really you like him? I guess if he was much less costly but I think you’ll be pleased with Captain Kirk. He’s got fire in his belly!
35 years old and coming off an Achilles injury? The Falcons better bolster the O line. Fields, Robinson, and Allgeier would've made for one heck of a ground game. Regardless, Cousins will be 1000000% better than what they had at QB last season. I wouldn't be surprised at all if they win the NFC South next season.

Cousins on a reasonable contact would have been ok. This seems borderline desperate. The Justin Fields rumors were intriguing and I thought he would've been an ideal choice to grow with London, Robinson, and Pitts.

Can we just shut everyone down and let the Skyhawks play out the remaining games?
I honestly thought about posting this before you did. Just have the Skyhawks forfeit the rest of their season.

Dang. Tough blow for Bey. Get back soon young man. Damn injuries really stink. He been grinding all year.
His versatility and 'all out' effort will be missed. His effort was the reason I didn't give him too much flack for his poor shooting. He went 100% every minute he was on the court. This may be the last straw for this season. I'm still not sure if it's time to officially pull the plug on the season, but I wouldn't be too upset if they did at this point.

This season is worse than the CV19 season. At least it feels worse. Hoping Bey makes a full recovery.

Hawks aren't really in position to be 8th but likely in position to be around 9th to 12th.
I think they're pretty much locked into the 10th spot or below. Hopefully they avoid the, "or below".
