  1. or like Hunter getting Hunter money
  2. I still can't believe I smoked a bowl with him backstage at Starbar many moons ago. Disappointed that he doesn't know when to put it down.
  3. so you're mad at yourself? Yeah I am too.... you shoulda pulled the
  4. no it ain't! You're smarter than this Dean!
  5. I completely agree. Travis never mailed it in regardless of the draft class. He was outstanding at finding mid first round gems. But do you remember Danny Ferry's drafting? I think he was using those European scouting trips as vacations. Every single pick he made, immediate sad face upon the announcement..... otherwise he was great at making trades and good with contracts.
  6. hard disagree. You've just got your Sally Jesse Rafael glasses on and you've forgotten how good AJ is. If he gets traded, you will see it and be sad.
  7. I don't either. And if this has to do with Quinn's relationship with him, this is my first real strike against Quinn.
  8. this is exactly what I'm sayin!! Be the one that stays on your toes while some of the other jackasses are mailing it in because there's no Tim Duncan/LeBron, and it will pay dividends. Now I'm confused if we're arguing or dancing???
  9. That makes no sense. DJ and AJ are miles better than each of them no matter how you compare any of them. DJ better than both of them and AJ better than both of them. Even 2 unprotected firsts with that package is absolute dog sh!t.
  10. Here's a recent short of @Hawkmoor
  11. no data.... this is similar to the idea of "playing down to your competition"... As a Hawks fan, I know damn well you're familiar with that. or deciding not to study for an exam because you know it's not worth much of your final grade. Just human behaviors...
  12. People can get less excited if there's no hype for a given draft. And people don't do their homework as hard if they're not excited. GMs are humans -- their work ethic is influenced by potential benefit and if they don't see the stars because the media is saying that, then why put in the same amount of work?
  13. if the reports are true that we're getting lowball offers for DJ, I'd rather keep him and revisit this in the offseason. We should have traded CC either of the last 2 seasons, while he had value.... at this point we'd be lucky to get a 2nd. Still should move him. Otherwise focus should be on moving Bey, 12 and Bogi. Bogi is the one of these I like as a piece for the next few years. But he's also the one out of these that can return decent value.
  14. not if Quinn gives those minutes to AJ and he plays like he did last year.
  15. as funny as this is. It's not funny at all. Tony was a fool to kick out Travis for this POS that's working for his buddy while being paid by Tony.
  16. my optimistic guess is a directive from FO in that they plan on keeping them long term so there's no need to showcase them for a trade. Reminder: that's my optimistic GUESS
  17. I think I'd be with you... I've been a fan close to 40 years myself and I moved away from the A 10 years ago. I've since flown and driven all over the country to see games in GS, SAC, LA, DEN, DAL multiple times to be that one Hawk fan in the other teams arena, loud as hell. This clown parade is not the people I wanna give my efforts to.
  18. so the team is the Jazz as you've pointed out Fontecchio has increased his value?
  19. Feel bad for Pacers fans... they're gonna feel like all of us in about a year.
  20. I've also seen a Mark Cuban interview (or maybe it was a short) in which he talks about the Trae/Luka trade. From his perspective, he said he called the owner (Tony) directly and convinced him "hey comon' we know you want Trae and we want Luka and we'll give you a pick". The way he puts it, Tony went behind Travis in that situation as well. But who knows -- that's just one side of the story.
  21. You see, Tony? This is why you should have let your GM be the GM. I hope this fool has at least learned a lesson and has admitted he was wrong.
