    I wonder...

Sam Crenshaw from 11 Alive, was saying that his wife and notice him. He was having trouble breathing and his face was turning blue, and this was happening around 3:30 AM Saturday. So I don't think he was around any of the Hawks Medical Staff.
  3. It didn't get any better with the NY Rags last night either....lol. They keep saying goaltending is our problem. Heck we played our 4th stringer last night. I don't see it. If we are playoff/championship caliber this team has to step up when our goalies go down. Kari is the only we can trust, and he's only played a few NHL Games. The 100+ Minute scoring drought is hard to believe. Bondra, Hossa, Kovalchuk can't get shut out like this. I realize we got a lot of new pieces, and they need some time to gel. Right now, if they gel, we are just going to be making games close. I think our first 3 games without Kovy, we had 15 goals, and we got blanked in the first one. We add him, and lose 3 games with only a few goals scored. I'm not blamming him, just an interesting pattern. Right now, he seems to be the only one out there with any heart.
  4. Anyone get the chance to watch any of the Midnight Madness? I saw several players that stuck out. It was fun watching these teams scrimmage against one another. Allenaye (sp) from Kentucky. He's a project, but I could see this guy playing in the NBA. At 7'3" he's a worthy guy to take in the draft next year. He's still a junior, so he might stay another year. Randolph Morris played, but they said it's not certain if he can play at Kentucky this year or not. He is allowed to practice. Number 41 from Michigan State looked good. He had some nice power dunks. There is a 270 lb player from Oregon that looked great. This guy might be a top 5 pick one day. He has the makings of the next Karl Malone.
  5. I too, would like to send my prayers and thoughts with the Collier Family. So tragic to hear this news.
  6. I'll say this for Warrick. While watching college basketball last year (early on). I was trying to determine some elite talent out there. Warrick was the guy that caught my eye the most. Whether watching him, or just seeing his stats on Sportscenter. When some of the mock drafts started comming out, I was shocked he was so low on them. It's hard to argue the high school kids, but as for the rest of the college players. I was thinking top overall pick to top 3. Right before the draft he was about 7th or 8th on my board. Just because I took into account all of the mock drafts. If I wouldn't of had internet, and only the resources of TV. Then Warrick would probably been top 3 on my list for the draft. Yes, a little homerism on the Salim Pick. I just think a shooter can play on any level.
  7. I was just throwing an age out there. 25 was not reported. It just said he might be older. So I was just giving 25 as an example. The Soviet Thing is a good way to credit it, I guess.
  8. 1) Gearld Green (hands down the steal of the draft) 2) Chris Paul 3) Salim Stoudamire 4) Hakim Warrick 5) Nate Robinson I think Deron Williams will be average at best. Jarrett Jack will be more sought after in 5 years, than Williams.
  9. I didn't know (or can't remember), that Smoove had no fouls in that 10 block performance. That is impressive! Zaza's Age is wrong? Haven't heard this one. So is Zaza's Value less, if he's 25 years old?
  10. OK, they sent me a 5 Dollar coupon. It expires October 20th. Coupon Code: SRV28 (Order that is 35 Dollars or more)
  11. Well if you go on scoring. It was the Hawks! Most points. If defense is the thing, than the Hawks was the worse....lol. (well next to Charlotte of coarse) Funny you mentioned Houston. I say Orlando might have been the most impressive. Not only did they beat us, with our main guys getting minutes, but they only loss by 4 points to a team that I have winning the West this year. The Rockets have a very, very good team, no doubt. Derron Williams (3rd overall pick), was horrible as I expected. McCleoud and Palcaio should see the bulk of PG Minutes. 5 turnovers in 16 minutes of play is not a good sign for Williams. Telfair and Jarrett Jack both had solid games for the Blazers last night. Pryzbilla gave them 12 boards, but only 2 points of scoring. So I am impressed with the guards on the Blazers. Mambeema for Dallas had better stats than Podolozonkin (however you spell these guys names....lol). If Hawks are looking for more big people, Dallas would be a good team to stay in contact with. They have an abundance of big guys. Mike Sweetney look like Charles Oakley playing for the Bulls. If the Marbury for Al thing ever had any substance, Sweetney would have been a great addition in that trade. Has anyone notice Hunter for the Pacers? Where did he come from? Watching the highlights two nights ago, I liked what I saw. He's got a little flair to his game, and the stroke looks sweet too! Rashard McCants scoring 18 points in like 20 to 25 minutes of play caught my eye as well. So both TarHeels Backcourt Players looked sharp last night. Yeah, Houston would be hard to agrue with for impressive. All the moves they made, and Luther Head having two solid games back to back so far, looks like they are contenders!
  12. Well, not seeing the game it's hard to say. I will say Marv's numbers look about right there. The stats against the Magic seemed high. So is Al's 25 our high for the season? I just keep looking at Salim's attempts and minutes. He would be a good choice for first player to crack 30, or 40 points in the preseason. Also, I fully expect multiple 40 point games for Salim. His minutes are a big question mark, but I think when he finds that stroke he has, you can't take him out of games. Very happy to see Batista scoring. I was watching FSN in the Pacific last night, and Lenny Wilkens was on. According to him, first 4 preseason games coaches don't care about. They start trying to put game faces on after that. JJ's 35 minutes a game average, and Childress getting 40 last night seem very high. Anyone like Sebastian Telfair? He impressed me last year with his stroke. He had no passing game. He had a double digit assist game last night. He might be the next DWade this year. How good of a coach is Nate McMillan?
  13. Professional Sports? Yes, the Thrashers no doubt! Tough loss tonight, with the return of Ilya, but they are right there. College would be them Dawgs. Still undefeated. Need some teams to lose ahead of them. GO NOTRE DAME!!! Not sure what is up with Penn States Running Back killing hisself. Very shocking, and that is really going to hurt them. GT Baseball might be the next in line.
  14. Funny how JJ played so many minutes. Wonder if this was for the sake of Belkin to see? I realize he is always up there in minutes every year, but preseason? It did seem like he got most of his stats late. They play him 20 minutes, and his numbers don't look near as good. Thanks for all the great reviews. The part I like best, is that you guys broke this down like a real season game. I LOVE IT! If you play the games, you might as well win them. After going thru the Thrashers and Falcons Preseason Games recently. I hate to hear that popular phrase "It's only preseason". We know it's preseason and don't count, no need to even mention it. Glad for the most part you guys left that out. Simple breakdown from me. Most Positive Thing: The new guys. They all contributed nicely. (Salim, Marv, Zaza, and JJ) The Negative: We came away with a loss, and our main guys played a lot of minutes. The strangest thing last night: The Golden State and Lakers Game. Their final score was very similar to ours. Thought that was neat, since the Warriors is our first game, and the Lakers the first home game. Sooooooooooo........anyone think JJ's Minutes have anything to do with Belkin?
  15. OK, I just got my shirts today. Took mine a little over a week to arrive. I think it's cause UPS made a mistake. After you order your shirts, they will send you a UPS Tracking Code. They started from Oakland, Califonia, then to Illinois, then to Indiana, made two stops in Ohio, then to Nashville, on to Atlanta, and finally to Roswell before being delivered in Canton, Ga. Since they made two stops in Ohio. I think they got confusedl, and thought Canton, Ohio (you know, football hall of fame, Canton, Ohio). Oh well. I have them now. I do like them. A nice print. They was a coupon enclosed in my order. Any order over 35 dollars, you can get 4 dollars off. Here is the code: BCA4 (it expires October 31st) The 2 dollar off coupon I posted earlier expires on the 25th.
  16. OK, I got a 2 dollar off coupon. It's good for the long sleeve shirts. I came really close to getting one of the long sleeve Hawksquawk Shirts. Winter is fast approaching, so the long sleeve shirt is one that you could wear more, than just wearing it to the Clippers Game. The code is: FALL2
  17. Hey guys and gals. I have a good feed for 790. I will probably lose it around 8 or so. So if you have no way of listening to the Hawks Game Tonight. Just go to the chatroom, and I'm sure, me or someone can give updates. At least find out starting lineups, and who scores the first points. Hope to see ya in chat room at 7!!!
  18. Spiral and Inside Man........looks like I'm on your row. Yeah, sorry to hear about the troubles. Eveyone has their order right at ticketmaster now? Yeah DrZachary, that looks very promising. I was wondering how they would go about doing it. I was thinking along the lines of Hawks Triva Question, draw names from a hat, something taped under the seat, etc... When you get your tickets in the mail, and you have a pair for the A Row. Then I would say you won it! Congrats!
  19. OK, adjusted the bench spots. Went from 10 to 6. So Free Agency is a little better now. We may not get 16 teams. So keep that in mind too. The IL remains at 3. 20. That will work. Not sure how many tickets got sold. They may be lining us up along courtside. We are in different sections, but 7th row .vs. 4th row. So still same area. Anyone not got tickets yet. I did a search just now, and they have row J available in section 117. So we could still fill one end of the court up. Anyone get the offer and are not in sections 121 or 122?
  21. woooooooooooo hoooooooo! Yes, it is about time. I guess nobody really won in this manner. Thrashers paid out 3 and half million more than they wanted to. Kovy got 2 and a half less than he wanted. Will be interesting to see in the comming days, how the Thrashers handle the goalie position. I have a feeling they will go out and add a veteran presence. Dunham being a little shakey, and Kari injured.
  22. OK, I just checked my ticketmaster account. I am sitting in section 121. It's like 7th row seats. So I am very pleased. It is behind the basket, but being that close, and for 10 Bucks. It was a great deal!!! Thanks Again Mr. Levenson!!! If any of you can, please check your history over at ticketmaster. Just log in with your email, and password. Then view account history. You should be able to see where you are sitting at. Please come back and post. Make sure we are all in the same section. As for getting the tickets. I can say that I purchased tickets for the November 8th Game. The Home Openner before the Clippers game. They sent me an email saying the tickets were being printed. Then about 3 days later, I got them. So I do already have my Lakers Tickets in my hand. Ok.......so what are some matchup for this game? Brand and Harrington? Are these two guys gonna go at it? Does Childress draw Magette? I hope Livingston is healthy and can play. Would really love to see this high school phenom play. Cya guys at the game! With the HawksSquawk Shirt on of coarse. I have order mine. If that company send me any coupons, I will relay them to ya'll. So if you haven't bought a Shirt yet, stay tuned. A coupon that could save ya 4 or 5 bucks might be comming soon. Kudzu gave me a 4 dollar off coupon (thanks Kudzu!). So I will be sure to pass along any coupons I might get. None yet.
  23. Yeah.....it looks like Chillz is a tad taller taller than Al and Josh.
  24. Oh yeah......on your 2 ways to determine an "idiot". "2) he disregards your points " Your first line to the last post was "I refuse to read all of this" NUFF SAID
