EVERY GAME AT THIS POINT IN THE SEASON IS DO OR DIE YOU CLUELESS MORON!!! And you wonder why we play with zero intensity/heart/hustle/effort; eh, it's just another game. Who cares that this game could've eliminated your staunchest competition for that playoff spot; it's just another game... I want to start by saying that I love the Hawks and am at as many games as I can afford to go to; but this s#it must stop and it must stop immediately. Tonight was a "MUST-WIN" and we looked like it was pre-season. No passion, no drive, no fire, no "team" cohesion; I'm SICK OF IT! 1. Our coach HAS to be fired. -- Don't talk to me about improvement and how "these things take time". Mike Woodson is a no-talent hack; George Karl/Larry Brown/Flip Saunders/Rick Carlisle/Sam Mitchell would've turned this team around faster; Hell, I WOULD'VE TURNED THIS TEAM AROUND FASTER. The ASG simply doesn't care & hence they are hemorrhaging $$$ "owning" a team (really just holding them back with RIDICULOUS never-ending lawsuits) in their non-promoted, non-properly marketed, 3/4 empty arena. 2. Our GM is a repugnant A$$ Clown and should've been fired YEARS AGO!!! -- Don't tell me that Al Horford and Josh Smith make up for passing on Deng/Igudola/CP3/Deron (and the list goes on....) because it doesn't. Even a blind squirrel finds a nut every blue moon. 3. This team plays SO erratic; DUE TO BAD COACHING -- Woody's substitution pattern are enough to make me want to punch a hole in my wall; yet "we're making progress"; I see an Iraq war mentality here; we still suck and things here are still SUB-PAR but hey, at least we're only 6 games under .500; it could've been 60, right. Oh wait, thats right it was nearly 60 games below .500 just a few short (agonizing) years ago. 4. Our players have no identity and therefore know nothing of "TEAM" -- Why are the Pistons & Spurs CONSTANTLY contending for the NBA Championship? because they play "BIG TEAM/little me" basketball. I don't think they necessarily have better players than us (experience-wise Yes, talent-wise I'm not so sure) but what they do have is a group of guys that will hustle, sweat, bleed and leave it all on the court for one another. They play for the name on the front of the jersey as opposed to the name on the back; well, that and the Million$ of rapidly depreciating dollars. The Hawks on the other hand... We lack that, in all forms and fashions. We are the "God I hope JJ can score 40 and Smoove doesn't hoist 20 ft. jumpers" Hawks, and the rest of the league KNOWS THIS! In closing we are kidding ourselves as fans if we expect things to get better under the current "regime"; from the top on down all of the ASG Clowns/Mike "The Empty Stare" Woodson/Bozo Knight need to make like horse$hit and hit the trail if the Hawks ever hope to improve past struggling for 8th in the WEAK eastern conference. i've said my piece.

I agree wholeheartedly... Detroit is like San Antonio; no matter what they are seeded those teams know when & how to turn it on and win... I'd much rather face Boston and take our chances with "The Boston 3-party" than take on the Pistons who perform in the playoffs like a rolex keeps time; pretty damn perfect. Maybe its just me but it seems like Detroit has been in cruise control since about November and Boston has been trying to kill people night in and night out... maybe we can catch em' a little tired, maybe we get swept... I don't know with this team...

I honestly believe the ownership situation is going to HAVE to ultimately cost us a player with the above mentioned "tangibles" for David Stern to actually step in and do something to fix this quagmire. It's gonna be a shame when that player ends up being Josh Smith... I've got a baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaad feeling about this whole thing... If his agents are making their business public in the local papers and all over TV then they truly feel that they need the leagues' help/the public outcry to get something done. We all KNOW AS HAWK FANS that Josh Smith is the one to keep as he is hopefully only going to to continue to grow into his full potential. That could be scary... Even scarier if Josh Smith is realizing his potential in another teams' uniform, away from his "hometown" quagmire. I feel sick

Atlanta Spirit Group Member, My name is Paul-Devon and I have been an avid supporter of the Atlanta Hawks since being brought to this city from Los Angeles in 1982. I have been a season ticket holder since the first time I was able to afford it in 1995. I love my team and this is why I am writing to you today. It hurts me to watch this team be mis-managed. Billy Knight and Mike Woodson are incompetent whether you choose to believe it or not. Drafting 6'8ish player after 6'8ish player, with no regard to team needs, as BK has done, has put this team in the toilet. Slowing the game down to basically a grinding halt when you have players inclined to run, as "Woody" does EVERY GAME, is counterproductive and has led us to lose 70% of our games over his tenure. It bothers me to watch my money go down the drain as we prepare for our 9th losing season in a row. You all weren't around during the Dominique era or it would bother you more and put some fire in you to get rid of these CLOWNS! It angers me that you cannot get your legal "ducks in a row" and resolve this Belkin issue. Not being able to do so has made our city nothing more than a wasteland to free-agents that could've catapulted the Hawks back into contention. It pains me to see Chris Paul, Deron Williams, Brandon Roy, Randy Foye, Paul Milsap, Luol Deng, Andre Igudola and others go on to have excellent NBA careers in a city outside of Atlanta when they very easily could've been Hawks. In closing if you allow Billy Knight to screw up another draft, lets say by drafting a certain 200lb power forward out of UNC (THAT WE DON'T NEED!!!), you will NEVER get another red cent from me. I will no longer claim this team, as much as it will pain me to do so and I am not alone. You should really listen to the people on this one because if you don't you will lose any chance of getting this city to support this team. I tend to differ from all of your opinions on Yi... I honestly think that in a Draft minus the names ODEN and DURANT that Yi Jianlian would be the first name called in the draft... The Chinese, when they put their full media blitz behind a guy in which they solidly believe, have my attention. I see him putting up 16/7/2 in his rookie year and being a highlight guy every night getting assists from Jarrett JAck and Joe Johnson...
