We will see though.

What up Traceman! Yeah Falcons should definitely win this game especially since Abraham seems to be coming back. I'm wondering if Hall is going to be playing against Burress. Could be a tough matchup. We should run all over them either way. Could be low scoring since we have only given up one TD all year. Maybe another 17-10 game or something. On a side note what about those Hawks baby!! The Landlord payed a little rent last night!

Point is the Suns were going to MATCH! That is why we had to give up more if we wanted JJ. And its obvious JJ is going to be a superstar type of player. The guy can do everything! So it was worth it considering Phx. just traded one of our picks this past draft for cash to pay all their bloated contracts. I could care less about Diaw because I believe he wouldn't succeed the way he has on any other team but Phx. So it basically boils down to us giving one more 1st rounder to get JJ. Point is we had to sweeten the deal because Phx. knew JJ was a great talent and were going to match any offer.

I'm with you guys on this one too! 45 wins is not out of reach by any means. Its very OBVIOUS that Smoove and Marvelous are different players and will break out this year no doubt. JJ will be an all-star this year easily. Plus Shelden(The Landlord) looked real solid last night considering it was his first NBA game and along with Lo Wright brings us that interior post presence we sorely lacked last year. Plus we have a nice PG duo in Speedy/Lue. We really have no weakness right now except in the post interior still and its not even that weak. We have every position covered with 2 legit players. I'll bet anybody any amount of money we win more than 26 games this year!

Walter, we don't need anymore young prospects! Were already the youngest team in the league. What is this fascination with Sene anyways? The guy was taken way too early to begin with at #10 when he would have fallen to the late teens at least. Shelden(The Landlord) is a post interior presence that will help our team out THIS YEAR. We need to make a move now for the playoffs with the team we have. Its obvious Smoove and Marvin are going to have big years this year along with Superman JJ. Sene is a TOTAL project with limited offensive skills at this point. Shelden will give us 10pts/10rbs. every game if he can stay out of foul trouble. Plus he is a better defender than Sene. He knows how to man the paint and fight for position. All Sene does is block shots which we don't need. His game is too limited right now. We needed help NOW! So quit this garbage talk about taking some nobody like Sene who hasn't played against any REAL competition in his life. Shelden's resume speaks for itself. GO Hawks!!

Sorry but isn't Kenyon Martin 6"9 and 240lb.? Isn't he a PF? I don't see why so many people are saying Smoove can't play PF. The guy is only 20yrs old and bulked up to 240lbs. himself this summer and in my opinion is already better and more explosive than even a healthy Kenyon Martin. SO if Martin can play PF then Smoove can easily people!

Exactly NO one said anything about anyone blowing up after Shareef and Walker left. So its not the same every year. What are you talking about? We haven't had 3 players like JJ, Marvin and Smoove in YEARS that have this type of potential/stardom and displayed it last year in the second half of the season. JJ did the whole year actually. So if i'm living in wonderland because i'm making predictions from what I analyzed last year in the play of Smoove and Marvin then so be it. These guys are going to have big years! Just watch!

I think Josh Smith and Marvin are going to be huge this year!!! They are both two nasty freakish athletes and both are 6'9 and over 230lbs and only 20yrs old. They can easily man the SF and PF spots. Plus we got JJ, a legit PG in Speedy and an improving young center in Zaza. The more I think about our team the more excited i'm getting honestly. This team has a chance to surprise the whole NBA this year. See you all at the home opener Nov. 3 against the lowly Knicks. We should blow them out of Phillips Arena that night! Go Hawks!

Mullin is a complete idiot to say that!! There is no way in hell Shelden is going to start over Josh Smith especially if he said that Josh Smith was the backup PF. That makes no sense whatsoever. This guy is about to explode into STARDOM and HAS to be on the floor at the same time with Marvin and JJ period. I will be very upset if Shelden is somehow starting over Jsmoove. Claxton better hurry up and heal his fragile body as well. We need him in training camp ASAP

I totally agree and Speedy going down a WEEK before training camp really hurts but hopefully we can hold the fort till he gets back. He might be ready to go for the season opener if heals fast. Its about 5 weeks till Nov. 1 anyways.

I can't believe this is happening. Finally see some light at the end of the tunnel with a squad I think can make the playoffs this year and our main piece breaks his hand a week away from training camp. What next? UNBELIEVABLE!!!!!

This definitely hurts our team! How in the hell did he break his hand working out? Damn it! We need Speedy practicing and playing with the rest of the team to get some chemistry brewing. This messes everything up. I hope he can heal quickly and get back in there. Nothing can go right for our team. Good lord.

I totally agree Gsuteke, those other teams mentioned don't even compare to the Hawks young core of JJ, Jsmoove, Marvin, Shelden, and Chill. Come on!!! We already have one superstar who was on the World Championship team and 2 more waiting in the wings in Marvin and Jsmoove who are only what 20yrs old. No other team mentioned has 3 potential superstars on their roster.

Well from what I've been hearing Josh Smith has beefed up considerably this offseason and looks like a beast. He is up to like 245lb's and added a lot of much needed muscle. Sorry guys but if Kenyon Martin can dominate at PF at the same height and weight as Jsmoove when healthy then Smoove will be our PF and Marvin at SF.

I mean we signed a legit PG in Speedy, a very solid backup center who can score, rebound, and play solid interior Defense in Wright, drafted The Landlord who only dominated and averaged like 18pts, 11rb. and 3blks his entire college career to anchor our D, got rid of 40yr. old knees Harrington for a 1st rounder in next years VERY deep draft which also allows Marvin to enter the starting lineup. Sorry but that is a very solid offseason plus we still have tons of cap room for next year in the FA market. This guys knows nothing! Go Hawks!!!

Yeah the Dirty Birds are pissed after getting blown out twice last year by the Panthers. They are going to bring some pain with that defense! Abraham should have a nice game. It will be tough though. Its going to be a war either way and I can't wait! Go Falcons!
