I wish this forum could find something we all agree to hate and bash on it together. SquawkBonding and SquawkBuilding.

I think it's an open secret at this point that Johns shot broke when he injured his finger
Especially that wide open dribble rhythm shot he just tried. Get him in the corner and in the flow and you might see it go in.

These turnovers always lead to points too. Get it together my man.

Trae man, calm it down lol.

Trae is asked to do a lot, I’m on the same page as a lot of y’all with his turnovers. We need him to be a playmaker and I can live with the outcome assuming he isn’t reckless with the ball.
His shooting has to improve though. A lot of it is, to me, forcing his shot. When he is at his best he lets the game come to him. I remember early in his career he’d have 5 assists in the first quarter and then take over offensively later. So whatever it is, I hope he focuses on shot selection and improving his shot this off-season. He is still very young, so it’s not out of the realm that he can improve.

Philly just beat the Nets by 20 points. Didn't see that coming.
Closer than the final score was. It was a good game until late in the third. Brooklyn is scrappy and has some shooters/good ball movement.

We outplayed them in game 2 and got whooped because 3s are worth more than 2s.
Also, the way the threes come. We move the ball for an open look and miss it. We play defense, get some deflections, and Marcus Smart grabs it and hits a fade away three in the corner lol. They got some lucky ones, but when you are used to making them that happens.

Glad they kept fighting, game 2 will be closer. Feels better knowing we have a coach who will make some adjustments.

That's what we need... and guys who can drop a shot.
Like I said before, we shouldn't be hunting threes. We should run our offense and get threes in rhythm.
Definitely. When we don’t and they start draining threes our rhythm is gone because we start forcing things.

Just an ugly first half of basketball. Some good and mainly bad. We can gripe about our players and what not, but if we aren’t going to make open threes against them and they hit everything they shot - this is what you get.

Giving some love to JC. The rebound and pass for the dunk at the end of the game was awesome.

Impressive run to end the third! Let’s go.

Of course they would make a run but we just do a bad job of handling it when it is the Heat that make the run.

I leave you with one damn thing to do and you let them cut a 25 point lead down to 11 points.
You're all grounded. Give me your phones and go do the dishes!Or you hopped on a call and left us hanging lol. Who is to blame…

Nice to get those last two points though. It’s a game of runs, glad we stopped that one.

I don't understand. The ball had moved around before it came back to him.
He has to take that shot. Quin has no problem with those last 2 threes. Trae just has to make them.
I think we are thinking of a couple of different possessions.
Also @TheNorthCydeRises, I don’t get much time to watch games live so let me complain some lol.

Nope. He's taking wide open 3s. He can't pass up wide open 3s.
I don’t disagree, but the timing and rhythm of them I didn’t like.

Trae just can't shoot 3's anymore
At least not the rushed ones he is taking.

Too many threes, Trae. Great playmaking though.

I just hate how the refs have given them at least 4 extra points at the FT line when we played good defense. Outside of that, they haven’t been too bad. We are probably traumatized because the same **** happens each time we play them.

Not a foul on CC on Butler.

Way too dramatic of a post. This is not a one and done situation.
If we win on the road in Miami, that will be great. I'm actually expecting it.
But if we don't, simply come home and take care of business on Friday.
And even if we lose on Friday, we honestly move forward and see what Snyder has planned to improve our team. He came in midseason for this very reason.

I fear the refs will keep him in foul trouble.

I think we can put down the .500 for the post season. This is the time for us to flip the switch.
We need to show that there's another level.
I hope so! We are 87-84 in the last two years (including the play in and post season). I’m a positive person, but it has kind of been who we are for a large amount of time. I think they have it in them to turn it on though, we shall see.

The Raptors fired Nick Nurse! Are they nuts??
in Homecourt
Posted
Odd thing is that he said he was going to take some time after the season to evaluate his relationship with the Raptors. I kind of assumed that it was going to become a similar situation with Snyder and Utah last year where they just part ways mutually. When I heard he was fired I thought I was just imagining that, but nope, it is almost as if they wanted to break ties before he could.
