OK, I'll likely get slaughtered for this, but I'm going to advocate that Josh Smith (not Josh Childress) should be the centerpiece of any draft day deal. Let's get some value for this guy before we have to deal out max money to a cry-baby ball-hog.
Before I go any further, let me say that I agree Josh is a great athlete who can dunk, rebound, block shots, and defend very well. If he stuck to those things and kept his mouth shut, I'd be all for keeping him.
Probably is, he has an attitude. He thinks he needs to be the go to guy, even after he airballs a couple 3s in a row. This guy shouldn't be allowed to take a shot outside of 12 feet, and he wants to bark at Woody about not feeding him the ball at the end of the game.
Unless this guy can accept his role on the team, play the team game, and for the love of anything good in this world stop taking 3's and forcing shots, he needs to go while we can get something for him.
Just wanted to get that out there, because reading a lot of these posts, I feel like I'm the only person that has seen JS shoot the ball.
