Don't look now, but they are now 7-8, and Doncic had another pretty good game.

Our offense looks a mess, like we have to try really, really hard to score.

Only down 6, but I can tell that could swell to 16 at any moment.

3RD Quarter swoon in full effect. Just 11 points and too many turnovers. Gotta do better. Where's Collins?

They will need to play much better defense, cut down on the turnovers, have better coaching, and play with cohesion on both ends if we are going to get anywhere near 25. The return of Collins won't be enough to get us there. As for Pierce, what you say may be fair. But this team - talent or not, rookies or not - doesn't play with any sense of urgency or cohesion out there. We are consistently getting curbstomped in the 3rd quarter, and some of his personnel decisions and rotations make no sense. I've liked some things, but there are too many red flags - even to be this early in his tenure. The book hasn't been written on him or this season yet...but we need to see more than what we've been given.

It's gonna be one hell of a lean year for the Hawks. Listen, I know we don't have the most talent in the world, but early returns from Pierce aren't looking so good. I'm not impressed with him at all.

I wish we could just fast forward to the lottery. We may not win 10 games like this.

He's lost a ton of weight. He may be an older prospect, but he looks nimble enough to provide some quality minutes. He appears smart enough to give strong analysis of what's happening on the court. You know, maybe a later career in sportscasting...

Yep! Best we can do until Collins comes back to replace Carter is to replace Len with Dedmon in the starting lineup effective immediately. He's not only the better player, but a way better defender. And although our offense has been hot and cold, we cant seem to get stops when we have to have them. Dedmon > Len helps with that.

Klay has scored 22 (1st quarter), 14 (2Q) and 16 so far with a few minutes left in the 3rd. Dude couldnt buy a 3 pointer this year and already has 14 of them tonight.

Welp, we finally played a playoff team, and we got the expected outcome. Hard to believe we went into halftime tied with these guys...

Our "8 seconds or less" offense doesnt do us any favors when shooting 35-38%...Collins will help with that, so will Dedmon getting starter's minutes over Len, but man our offense is a wreck when not clicking. Either feast or famine.

Cant wait for Collins to come back so we can stop falling in so many offensive doldrums...
