I don't see Pierce as the HC of the Hawks next year. What a disaster this season has been all around.

So LP, what are you going to do about it? Us falling apart defensively and not being able to close teams out isn't exactly new for us this season. Reminds me of another talented-but-frustratingly-mediocre Atlanta team I know.

I don't think LP has the chops to lead a talented team with playoff potential anywhere deep. That said, Cam and Rondo have been supremely disappointing this year.

Nice win. But man, SG is an inconsistent black hole for us right now. Hopefully when Bogi returns, he starts playing well because it looks like Cam and Heurter are going to make us do a lot of all year. Oh, and someone send Hunter a Get Well Soon card, STAT!

If we could start closing in the 4th quarter, get players off the injury table, and get consistently good play from our GPS and SGs, we'd be rolling.

I'd agree that if we get into a hole that size, yeah, that's going to be really tough to climb out of.

Not so sure. Mainly because: 1) It was always going to take some time for this team to gel with all the new players coming in. AND 2) So many guys have barely played as guys have been living on the trainer's table. That said, that nice start to the season got us excited, but we need some better consistency and maturity from most of the players that have been able to play with us all year.
