Adams AND Capela are redundant, no shooting no spacing, same player eating 40 million of cap space and getting us out of 2021 FA race, no way in my mind.

Of course I like Capela more than Adams, contract is better, longer and I like the player much more, however if the cost is too much for Capela I am fine going for Adams.... if is just BKN pick... I think I will do it. Any chance we can get House from them for Bembry, I like House a lot.

I don’t understand Vucevic? BKN? Is it Allen or Orlando? I hope is Allen lol

I would not do JC for JJJ if Atl pick is top 3, no way

You could be right but no GM on the world would trade a top 5 pick for Capela, or for Adams, plain and simple, none. BKN Pick, OKC pick? Might be but there is good depth on this draft and teams know it, that is why they are looking for picks. There is a reason OKC and Houston are looking to trade both and we have similar players at FA this year, Noel, Drummond, Whiteside, Baynes... I think there are like 20 players in the draft with legit shot to become good rotation players and a clear top 3 with another clear top 10. I might be wrong, is true but if we have more chances we may hit big on a pick. I haven’t seen a trade that bring us a starter yet, just the Adams trade for Parsons and OKC pick, I am all in for that trade.

This isn’t happening today, would you think Cousins had to sign for 2 million? I think Drummond market is more 20 than 30. I might be wrong but that is why I say best case scenario, price goes down and you are able to sign him

Scenario 1 makes you a playoff team next year and a contender in 3-4. Scenario 2 you are barely making the playoffs. None of the scenarios younare suggesting for guys that are really available takes us to a better land. Love will not improve the team, Adams is much more expensive than Noel and is not playing better. Capela might be a good addition and cheaper but we don't have what Houston wants. And none of those scenarios give you next year a better team, you just lose assets

I just don't get it why you want to run now, makes no sense at all. Every scenario I see give us better team next year if we stay pat. I will give you two scenarios now and you tell me how can you improve by trading now. Best case scenario Draft Wiseman and RJ Hampton or Stewart or Carney Jr Sign Drummond for 20m$ a year, Bertans and Ibaka for 10 and 8. Sign Bigdanovic for 12. Young/Teague/Hampton Bogdanovic/Huerter/Hampton Hunter/Reddish Collins/Bertans/Ibaka Drummond/Wiseman/Ibaka Most likely scenario Draft Okongwu and Hampton or Stewart Sign Wood, Noel and Baynes (or Len) for 6, 9 and 6 m$. Sign Jor Harris for 10. Young/Teague/Hampton Harris/Huerter/Hampton Hunter/Reddish Collins/Wood/Okongwu Noel/Baynes/Okongwu/Fernando. You could even trade for Adams instead of getting Noel. Now tell me how you can improve that by trading the picks, I don't get it. Best case scenario is likely, if we win 12 games now is not. Most likely scenario is where we are heading anyway.

We are talking about waiting 2 months to end on a much better position than to trade now for some non difference maker vets for nothing because the only thing you can do is hurt your chances at draft night. I agree on signing good FAs this summer but I also want to add the best available talent to the roster on draft night. As I said next year even with 4-5 good players on the roster is difficult we will have more than 40 wins. Trae will be patient if he understand the plan and someone explain it correctly. We should not ruin the plan for 2 months. We have been shipping players and accumulating losses to have those 2 high picks.

I would give a lot to get Bamba, he would be a huge building block, a good fit. Guys you need to realize we are not going to win a lot with sophomores and 3rd year players, is about growing and improving right now the roster. We might add Adams, Ibaka, Bertans and Joe Harris and still improve no more than 40 wins. Is going to take time, took time for the Warriors and will take time for any young team like us. I am beginning to worry about the impatience of the fan base, if management gets too we could make a major mistake, I think people do not realize we are in the best situation for making a run to the title in 3-4 years, best situation in the league.

I think we might do something like McRae, Bullock.... even Adams.... Most chances for me is that we stay pat

Sorry that makes no sense, we go nowhere this season, we own one of the 3 worst records and ha a shot as a legit star in Edwards or Wiseman, why risk that chance for not making the playoffs? Sorry makes no sense. We are still on year 2 of the rebuild process, patience is a need, this summer is the summer to get immediate help for a young roster but first you need to know the pieces you have unless something you cannot reject is offered. Love is not that, Adams neither although for the right price... JJJ might be.

I disagree, you need to have all the chances you can to hit a homerun on a draft pick, is not that we are a deep team and have not space available. We have no prospects at frontcourt other than Collins. In a few years we need to make some decissions, sign some young guys and let others go, is important you have other rookies on rookie contract ready to contribute. Look at the big picture, maximize the value.

Also looking at the draft, even adding JJJ I think we should add a big if Wiseman and Edwards are gone. Okongwu intrigues me a lot, a young Adebayo, Carney Jr and Stewart could also be fantastic additions. Defense and rebounding available at our pick and BKN picks, we need big projects.

I think that if we get JJJ for Collins we should go after guys like Ibaka, Noel and Wood that are legit rebounders. With Noel JJJ can play the 4 or they can switch, that would be an awesome defensive tandem, with Ibaka he can play Center, I am not sold on Harrell at all, he lacks size, defense and rebounding, something Ibaka and Wood have.
  16. I agree, Bagley is going to be a star, injuries have affected his performance this year but he showed what he can do last year on February and March. The top 3 was clear, Ayton is a little worst than expected and Doncic has clearly exceeded the expectations. out of the top 3 Young has clearly exceeded the expectations, JJJ has performed as expected and we need to wait for Porter Jr and Bamba. Porter Jr is starting to show up but he will be brought slowly and Bamba... I would not delete him yet but so far he is clearly a disappointment.
  17. Also I have to say that I was completely right with Robinson and I am still intrigued by a lineup of Schröder, Doncic, Prince, Collins and Robinson wirh Huerter coming of the bench.
  18. Lol seeing again my comments, funny to see how things were different than expected. I really thought there were a clear top 3, Doncic and Ayton are franchise players, well Doncic is looking like a Bonafide Star, I wanted him so hard... he was really my choice and I have a hard time accepting we traded him. Bagley’s constant injuries have delayed his development but I still think he is going to be special. on the other 3 JJJ is looking as I thought, Porter Jr is starting to look like a really good player and Bamba has failed all expectations, I even wanted him over JJJ. Of course I was not suggesting to take Porter Jr with our pick. What really was a surprise for me was the offensive explosion of Young, I really thought we were getting a inefficient offensive player, Marbury clone, and a liability on defense. Clearly I was wrong as he has been much more efficient on offense and he makes his mates better, something I was not expecting at all. On defense he is as expected but he is a leader and someone you can build around. I am glad he is with us. Anyway 2 years after I would still draft and keep Doncic, I think he is going to be a HOF player and someone that can take a team to a title. I have more doubts with Trae, his defense is something that still concerns me but too early to tell, I hope next year we can evaluate him with a decent roster around. Also after 2 years the top 3 is quite different Doncic, Young and Ayton are the clear top 3, JJJ and Bagley following them.

I think is extremely unlikely Memphis trades JJJ so early, even more difficult for a player with similar skills than their up and coming player. Having said that I also think is much much harder to find a Center than a PF, so the move makes sense but not at the cost of our own pick if is top 5.
  20. He is UFA and OKC cannot even offer him 10 million, they are over the cap. I think we could have him for 6-10 million range, remember nobody offer him anything this year. Wood should be even cheaper. I really think we could have both for 15 million outbidding anyone. We could even wait on FA and probably sign both much cheaper, remember this summer after 3-4 weeks they were still unsigned.
  21. From that list I like Bertans, Drummond and Bogdanovic as I think we don’t have a shot at FVV and Ingram and Harrell do not fit Collins, we need some real size. I am fine going after players on the 24-28 range, however Schlenk should not underestimate the importance of having a veteran presence like Ibaka, he is playing really well, probably the best fit out there on bigs for us and his playoff experience could be gold for us, I think he would be a fantastic addition.
  22. That sounds like Christian Wood and Noel right? I doubt we do it though, never go for guys I see with potential
  23. To think that a 21 year old player on his first NBA season cannot improve is just ridicolous. Players peak at 25-27.
  24. Wood is by some metrics the best player on Pistons roster, I was praying we would have signed him this year, he would be tremendous fit with John Collins.
  25. Noel, Wood and Joe Harris. alternatively and more expensive Drummond, Ibaka and Bertans two wild cards Korkmaz and Crowder. ummm that was not 3 lol
