Nobody was breaking their neck to see the perennial playoff team of last season and before either. plus The problem is the Hawks is not the type of team that can pull that off. This is not a sexy enough destination. They tried it and ended up with Joe freakin Johnson. and remember the Hawks recently had a shot at multiple super stars in the lottery and blew it.

At some point the Hawks need to realize they will never be a contender by putting together a Frankenstein. There's only 2 routes in today's NBA. You better be damn good or damn bad. Anything else is insanity.

Yeah I caught that too. No matter how it unfolds the Hawks will have a very small staring backcourt. Now we all just sit and wait for details on LD's rotation..

don't think it's a far enough step back to warrant taking a step back. Now if Josh is traded then we're cooking with grease. Should be a more entertaining / watchable product for the casual fan though.

and I hate being Mr. Negativity but.... I hope this isn't the roster for long. This is the same deal as before. This time around they equal out offensively but are worse defensively. At the end of the day your not bad enough for a good draft pick and your not good enough to do any real damage in the playoffs. Maybe the plan is to get D12. Why else would Ferry be hoarding all these shooters? Hell even that model didn't work out all that well in Orlando.

That drives me crazy about Zaza. He has a bad habit of putting the ball on the floor when he's close to the rim. If he would just stop doing that, and go straight up, I bet 90% of of his ugly lay ins would turn into easy dunks.
