You can't grow a contender without landing elite talent in free agency or having lottery picks. We have no lottery picks and no elite talent wants to play here. Houston still has a better chance at a title than we do.

No I want us to be a place where free agents want to come and even before this bombshell they had no reason to come here. Now the good talents will sure as heck stay away now. Gasol and Deng are good players but they aren't if elite talents but still don't want our money. Players have brands too and they don't want their name to be associated with this mess.

Everyone he's wrote says Ferry isn't a victim that was set up but you seem to think he's not guilty. So wouldn't Woj be misleading us then? Sounded like everyone knew not to take Sterling's money. Which could be a situation we are putting ourselves in. This literally has nothing to do with Ferry being a racist. It's about him being able to effectively do his job when players, agents, and other GM's know he's capable of this kind of action. And yes one incident is enough to change the perception of you forever.

So Wojo is going to partially release stuff to just make Ferry look bad when potentially some mystery part could leak making his reporting look bad? Wojo is a better journalist than that. I want them all gone. Do you honestly think Ferry can do his job effectively with this stigma over him? How is he supposed to sit down with a free agent and try to convince them he wants them while the player knows this happened and isn't sure what this guy is truly feeling about him. I don't think anyone could and Ferry wasn't exactly good at attracting the free agents to begin with.

What more facts do you need? The evidence is overwhelming. At the end of the transcript do you think Ferry ended his rant with "j/k"? If there was anymore more context Wojo would of posted it. The recent article is damning and he makes it perfectly clear that Ferry is "guilty". I'm actually baffled by what else you think there could be.

The context provided in the Woj article wasn't exactly in Ferry's favor. It made it sound worse and that he may in fact put his on spin to the racial slur in the scouting report after reading it aloud.

Yet no good free agents took our money. In fact a lot of our targets took less money to play elsewhere. They should all be sent packing.
