I don't really think Horford will ask for 11 mil, a reasonable price for him would be 9 mil. Joe... I say between 16 and 17 mil. And don't forget a smaller Bibby salary ( If he gets re-signed ) and Claxton gone in 2010 will be an extra 11 mil or so...

Okay... the Hawks ARE a good team that's being held behind because of horrible coaching... there's a big difference.

This depends though... Offense - Joe Johnson Defense - Josh Smith Overall - Joe Johnson Potential - Josh Smith You never know what the future might hold and things look extremely bright for Josh Smith.....

Man I have to tell you... I HATE MISSED FREE THROWS!!! You never know if your team will loose by 1 or 2 points and those 1 or 2 free throws you missed could've changed the whole game...

If all this happens, we'll be back to our 6-0 Hawks team. It would all come together so nicely, but I don't think mentioning Speedy even matters.... spotting big foot being abducted by aliens while a ghost takes a picture is more likely than seeing Speedy play and make a difference....

I used to be pro-trade-Bibby, but now I could actually see him as a permanent PG for a couple of years... I mean honestly, of course he's not going to ask for 14 mil contract again in his career, so we can sign a good veteran PG for around 6 or 7 mil in Bibby.s

Yeah ever noticed that patch on his shoulder these past couple games? It's because he has a shoulder injury. He woke up one day and could barely move his arm, so he got the day off, but you can tell he's not the same still.

I don't know about 5 mil a year... but somewhere between 6 or 7 mil would be a good deal for Bibby...

I can's stand Speedy! The guy is a plague. I don't want him to just retire.... I want him to d.... well.... just use your imagination!

I guess I agree! Hawks really need to get rid of Bibby because he barely fits us and I really don't see Baron as a Clippers offensive orientated player. It would be good for both teams. I would also include Zaza or Speedy if they wanted. I've looked down on those two ever since they joined the teams. I hate Speedy, don't hate Zaza as much since how he's a center and thinks he can play PG.... always brings a smile to face.

At this point, Bibby has slightly increased his value, but I believe a lot of teams will be hesitant to trade some one for Bibby since of his outrageous pay roll, so who do you think we could for Bibby? ( Including the salaries will match )

I don't think it's Acie's lack of progress... I believe it's his lack of playing time. I mean seriously! If you want a guy to progress and learn you have to give him chances to go out and explore, so he can progress. You can't just sit him on the bench and expect something great!

Anything to get rid of Speedy and Zaza, but I think we could do better than Curry...

Okay, I'm sick of the Atlanta Hawks defense without the inside presence of Josh Smith. :angry22: I mean it's just sad, no one wants to step up to play some D on the inside and stop those easy buckets. I'll hand it to Zaza, he at least tries, but he usually gets called for a foul or a 3 sec. violation ( on both ends if I may say so myself ), so does anyone know about Josh Smith's injury status?
