He's getting some hype in the draft process, but he doesn't play at the same level as Doncic. Musa has been playing for Cedevita in the Eurocup competition, which is a level below the Euroleague competition that Doncic has been playing in.
Not tryna compare the two...i understand Luka is better i just wanted to know would he be worth one of our later picks. From what I’ve seen of him he looks like a really really good shooter. I don’t know about the rest of his skills which is why I was asking
-
Anybody know anything about the Musa kid overseas?
-
From that list the good defenders in the league would be Battier, Deng, Davis, Brand, Henderson, Winslow was good his first year, Duhon...that’s all I’m coming up with right now

How far are we going back with this? Are we talking recent players? Since 2000? Since he got to duke? What we talking?

Prospects that play for Coach K never learn how to play defense. It's a crying shame.
What? This is absolutely false

Luka looked hella slow in that highlight. Now maybe he was just pacing himself but didn’t look very appealing from that aspect

I'm fine with saying that profile could be a special player but that is the opposite of a unicorn. A unicorn is primarily defined by a type of mold breaking, unconventional profile.
Oh I’ve never called him a unicorn...I don’t consider him that type of player

I wouldnt say he is doing anything unconventional but he is very good at what he is doing. That isn't a criticism. Alonzo Mourning didn't break any molds but he was a damn good player.
I’m not saying it’s necessarily unconventional I’m just saying that a guy as naturally gifted as him is rare to find with that kind of motor attached to it. Develop that mid range a lil bit more and you could be looking at something really special.

the activity and hustle is off the charts. Along with his length and athleticism it’s extremely difficult to deny him in any phase of the game...that’s on the boards, in the paint, off the dribble...he’s just one those guys that’s going to get his. He will continue developing his skills but you don’t find gifted guys like him with that kind of go get it attitude all the time

He definitely gave that game his all. And that’s what it took. He definitely has a nice it factor. I end up liking him more every time I watch Duke.
It’s amazing how different you feel about a player when you actually watch them instead of reading all these write ups and opinions. Bagley is the real deal as a player. Should he be the hawks pick? Still not sure bc of the fit between he and Collins but I’m damn near at the point of saying forget all that and just take the best player

Stop it! No he's not. They don't play anything alike.
Not at all...I don’t know what this guy is looking at half the time

It should really tell you how bad the draft is at the top or how bad the current evaluators are when Marvin Bagley is projected to go #1 and the guy can't even catch a post entry pass cleanly at this point.
What in the WORLD do you be talking about man

Boy those Trex arms are really a problem. I mean damn...what kind of numbers would he be putting up if he had regular arms @KB21

Drafting Wendell Carter w/ a top 5 pick has Shellhead written all over it. Bud would make Bagley/Ayton/Doncic/Porter Jr. offensive juggernauts. Not sure about Bamba offensively but his defense is legit. He is #5 on my list thus far.
Carter is definitely not Shellhead but i get where you’re coming from lol. He’s more agile, more athletic, softer touch around the basket and has a knack for blocking shots just like Shell but with more athleticism and this is all at a much younger age.

Bagley is cleary very good. But I still don't think you can pair him and Collins and I haven't seen anything from him that makes him a guy where you just chuck Collins out of the window (right now he's mostly playing the role of cleanup man with his other skills sprinkled in.. if he starts hitting those threes and creating his own shot more then its a discussion). Some team is gonna get a nice player there though. I like his teammate Wendell Carter better for the Hawks personally.
Carter is really good at what he does, I’m just waiting to see a lil more versatility out of him. He’s quicker and more agile than I thought he was tho. He’s really strong down low too. He shouldn’t be the pick of we’re top 5 tho...he should be somebody that we try and move back up to get by packaging some picks or something

Bagley sure is being held back by those Trex arms huh @KB21.

Why are we even arguing this?

Who said that? I never said where he should be picked, I never even said we should pick him. I’m just giving an honest assessment of his game. Relax man

I’ve watched every minute of every duke game...looking like a t rex is not at all how you fell watching him. But ok. I literally said he needs to work on his jumper. He doesn’t dribble much and when he does it’s out of control sometimes...said that as well. You truly just want to be over the top negative. His activity and length has made him a terror on the boards for teams so far. The jumper isn’t broke, it just needs work. The mechanics of it aren’t bad. He can get that together like so many others have thru the years. And as far as the zone they all have looked lost early on. That’s not something duke does a lot of, mostly a man squad so I’m not sure what he problem is right now but they all look kind of lost at the moment. Actually watch the games and quit talking about these random recruiting sites
