  1. Is there anything that says that this is only a two team trade?
  2. Quote: I wish we were one of those 2 teams...but i doubt it. I'm pretty sure we're not. I've heard Knight talk about him during his comeback, and the terms weren't glowing.
  3. Quote: How many backup point guards do we need? If JJ is taking time at point and Salim is taking time at point. Then we have Ivey, Lue, and Speedy. I think we're ok at point for now. I don't see the point either. While Ivey may not have a lot of upside, he's a good defensive backup to have. Cutting him for a guy who has potential, but question marks about his game and who might not fit in Woody's system wouldn't help us much.
  4. Quote: KB, I have witnessed you getting on to everyone from Belkin to Babcock..These guys are also professionals at the highest level..Why is it ok for you to criticize them, but noone can do the same to BK?.. I think it's okay in his case, because he's a hypocrite.
  5. Quote: Not by a bunch of stupid fans. Wow. You've got a touch of BK's arrogance. Fans have every right to critisize him, without passign KB's intelligence test.
  6. Quote: These idiots just have a strong desire to criticize everything Billy Knight does. And you don't think BK deserves any criticism????

    New Poll...

Quote: Regaurdless of how you may feel about Gay. Isn't that a big part of it? I don't particularly like Gay. I wouldn't draft him top 5, no matter what my needs were. That doesn't have anything to do with Marvin, does it? I don't think my draft board would change very much if you look at what I'd like now, in comparison with your fantasy scenario. With Paul as a Hawk, I'd be a lot less likely to take Roy, but that would be the only difference.

    New Poll...

Quote: It may be and it proved just that. Nick you're the only one here who really really thinks that without a Sf, that Josh is a PF. Only you and maybe one other guy... Make that two other guys.
  9. The Lakers also can't take Al's salary without giving us close to equal salary back.
  10. If my top two picks, (Aldridge and Roy), are both there when the Hawks pick, and we end up with Sheldon, I think I'll riot.
  11. Quote: I think the answer that Diesel is looking for is Shelden Williams. yep. Either that or a Marv slam.
  12. I think it would be a lot easier to ask what do they have in common.
  13. I feel the same way. I'd much rather sign him and trade him later if the need arises than to let him walk for nothing.
  14. Nice. But yeah, Sturt's the man.
  15. Quote: The great thing about Philips Arena though is that there isn't a bad view in the entire house. Well, I can't stand sitting behind the backboards, but other than that, I'll agree with you. The arena does offer some great views. (One of the last times I went, I couldn't see the far goal because of the shot clock. )
  16. Quote: The problem is that if they do that no one would have any reason to buy anything but the cheapest tickets Yeah, I know. And I know if I paid the big bucks, I'd be resentful of someone sneaking in next to me who paid 10 bucks to get in.
  17. You would think they'd want people in the lower sections so it doesn't look like a ghost town on TV.
  18. They can propose all they want, but Bonzi can't negotiate with any team until after the draft. Sac can't make any deals involving him, because he could choose to sign elsewhere, so they can't really even draft for Minny and trade the rights after. At least that's how I see it.
  19. Quote: I am guessing that O'Bryant hasn't shown enough to make the list and that Roy's revelation that he won't be working out for the Hawks indicates that he isn't on the list. BK's comment that he would still take the best overall player is the reason that Gay and Morrison make the list. I guess I missed this. Has he actually refused to work out for Atlanta? I thought he just didn't have anything scheduled here yet.
  20. Quote: i'd say Bargnani not being on the list wasn't a suprise. he's soft down low and will provide 0 interior presence. he just doesn't fit a need, not matter if he's 7 or 10 feet tall. I don't know if fitting a need is really a factor in a BK list.
  21. Quote: yep, you can have The Milwaukee Bucks, and Detroit Pistons Oh. Okay. *twiddles thumbs*
  22. Quote: Why do you keep bringing that up as your example. Most people here would do that, I certainly would. He's a guy with as much potential, who fits a need. The fact is they are not offering that and they wouldn't take it if we offered. Exactly. Why would LA consider that trade?
