But there's no need for resigning him for the 2012-2013 season. I think we can win on a solid team effort and using our athlecticism against Orlando. Orlando isn't even good anymore and they might start missing the playoffs after this upcoming season.
So you mean to tell me that you would pay a guy $1 million to sit on your bench to only start/play 5-6 game per year against centers that will have their way with Al? Waste.
Finally, that means the Hawks are going to play there 2nd round pick, and he's actually good. I don't know if he's a tough guy or a nice guy but he's going to give you good production in points, rebounds, and defense.
He might as well retire because I see no fit for him here in Atlanta. Remember last year when we face Orlando with no Horford and no Collins? Well we beat them because of a solid team effort. That game made me realize, what's the point of Collins? He has no offensive game, he isn't fast and he's play scrub minutes for $1 million. He isn't worth it.
I heard Kidd is considering playing for the Nets or Knicks, but I have no clue why since it seems that New York is going to sign the man formerly known as Linsanity, and Brooklyn may get DWill after all.
@MaceI don't think he wants to come to the NBA for just the money alone. It's every NBA Player's dream to win a championship, and Atlanta is the best opportunity for him to do that, out of the teams interested in him.
I'm just saying that he could turn out to be our Isaiah Thomas of last year. People really undervalued him and look what he did for Sacramento. He basically ran Ty Evans out of the starting PG role and the reason why he won't resign with them. He's a diamond in the rough and I know if someone give's him the chance, he's going to have a successful career.
We have to be the favorites on his list, because we actually made the playoffs this year. Plus we have guys who can do real well for the pick n roll. July 1st, here we come...
