  1. Scott and Jenkins make alot of sense if we sign key free agents. They can really help out in scoring, and I hope that I can see them both get 10-15 minutes per game to contribute to this team.
  2. He could be a real good back up SF.
  3. That contract<<< No one's going to take it. And even when we trade him, who's his replacement? He's a top 10 SG in the NBA and you can't replace his numbers easily.
  4. Yeah last year sucked, but Enes Kanter really didn't have an impact season, and I think it worked out for the best.
  5. Melo, Wroten, and Miller are all overrated. Green isn't a fit and Andrew Nicholson brings alot to the Hawks in terms of rebounding, shooting, tough defense, and high BBIQ.
  6. Dan Ferry has really made the Hawks become interesting again.
  7. I don't like Drummond's worth ethic and attitude. But he's the best center in this draft so, sign me up! Maybe we could get Ty Evans or Chuck Hayes for fillers.
  8. Joe in Charlotte.. That could help sell tickets there, with Joe lighting it up for 3. If I was Charlotte, I wouldn't mind taking on his contract.
  9. Maybe we send them teague for the #2, if we somehow land Gasol. Then we go out in free agency to sign D.J. Augustin for about 2 million, and go from there. Nah, I don't think we have enough assets to land the #2, so pass.
  10. If we do indeed trade for him, we need to heavily watch the olympics to see what he still has.
  11. I don't see it happeining, I see us better with Houston than with LA.
  12. And he would cost us a first round pick, which doesn't make sense, because they should be giving us their 2nd round pick.
  13. OH NO. THEY WANT THE #23. NOPE WE CAN'T RISK DOING THAT.
  14. Even if we get Gasol, who's playing at the small forward position/shooting guard position? I hope LA has a trade exception to give us.
  15. The Lakers better eat about 20 million of his contract or we ain't trading. I would also want a future first or second as well.
  16. The bulls are smart enough not to fall for Joe and his contract. They are in terrible cap space so it would make sense to have 90 million dollars to pay in over 4 years to Joe.
  17. Who's going to replace Dalembert? They're probably not going to re-sign camby, so I don't see why he would be waived by houston..
  18. Gah. This is where I don't agree, I believe it should be Al as the #1 option, then Joe, then Kyle. Al needs to finally get his 20-10 season and I believe he can do it after this trade.
  19. Wroten goes after the #25 and before the #30. And what do you mean that Lowry's going to be the #1 option? He only attempts about 10 shots per game. He averaged 6.6 assists per game, but here in Atlanta you have a guy in Al Horford and Joe Johnson who are capable of making shots, and with him utilizing his speed to find people he can easily average 8-9 assists in Atlanta. I get efficiency but i also get potential as well, and Kyle Lowry has alot of it. And it would be at it's maximum in Atlanta.
  20. Darn my forgetfullness, I also left out the fact that we have a draft pick. What position should we use it on? I would choose the PG position and I would change Rivers for Marshall, the best true PG in this draft. With the #23 pick, I would either get Jeff Taylor, or Royce White (I would go with Royce because he's more aggressive and he's tough). With the #43 I would get the best avalible talent that's still on the board (Maybe Shooting Guard like Orlando Johnson).
  21. Honestly though, I would think that Lowry is the only talented point guard that we could convince Houston to give us. Again, what other point guard are you seeing can put up numbers like Lowry? You know that guy Josh Smith? You know the guy that would really benefit from him getting out of here? Al Horford. As soon as he leaves, you're talking about Al getting more shot attempts and really seeing the player we selected 3rd overall in the 2007 draft. Question, who was the last Hawk that averaged 20 points and 10 rebounds(I don't really know so im hoping for you to answer that)? Who on this Hawks team has the potential to do that? Joe? Marvin? No, its Horford. All he needs is a talented point guard like Lowry to set him up, and we're getting close to contention. Oh wait, I forgot, the Hawks are also getting a proven power forward in Scola to help compliment the front court. A guy who can give you 16-7, set you good screens, and a good teammate. I know that Smith is better than Scola, but you also have to think that Scola's numbers are respectable for a power forward and it will be beneficial for this Hawks team and the fact that you are getting more production from Horford. This is just the way I see it.
