  1. We have a better shot to win with our 2nd team out there, literally. Hope Smoove not only doesn't play game 2 but he is out for the remainder of the playoffs. Sorry not sorry.
  2. And if he is retained... I'll be done.
  3. That once we are eliminated from the playoffs, Smoove and Larry Drew will both ride into the sunset together and never return.
  4. This is too good. A 25 year old Bulls fan is suing Derrick for making him far and depressed by not playing for the entire season... I fell this is HomeCourt worthy. This is a must read. http://m.bleacherreport.com/articles/1610399-ingenious-fan-sues-injured-derrick-rose-for-making-him-fat-and-depressed
  5. True, pretty crappy article but any time I see anything about this summer I get excited... Even though Nolan Smith is average at best.
  6. Well now he has an option to go where he wants to. Wherever he lands, it'll be because he wants to be there.
  7. Obviously the Lakers aren't guaranteed a playoff spot yet and can very well not make it only being up 1 game with 2 left. But even if they make it they will lose in the first round. But it's not that so much that would make him leave. Now that Kobe will be out until at least mid season of next year you have to think Dwight will take the first midnight train to Georgia after the season. Maybe I'm just over analyzing things guys but our chances have to be getting better. Just seems like things are falling in our favor.

  9. To the guy that mentioned Shaun Livingston... I'm SMH at you right now. He is a royal scrub, mainly because of being injury prone.
  10. Eh idk, even with a weak draft there is usually that one guy ( or 2 ) that becomes a true stud in the league. Hardest part is finding out who they are before seeing them in NBA action.
  11. I'm just not thinking any big names will come here in the off-season for one thing, secondly I'm not trying to say trade away a bunch of asets either but we desperately need to trade up and draft Trey Burke or even Hardaway Jr ( if he declares )... Both of these guys will be studs in the NBA. There is a decent amount of talent in the draft this year, I just feel we need to go after one of the studs just like the Falcons did for Julio Jones. High risk but high reward if it all works out. Even with all of the cap we will have... I still feel the draft will be our saving grace for a star.
  12. This has happend with the Jason Collins scrub vid earlier this year when he went to the Celtics and now my scrub vid of Solomon Jones has jumped up to 2,361 views since becoming a Knick... Lol but I also wanted to take this time to say to the scrub vid fans, I know it's been a while since I've put one out but I'm going to start making them again soon. Here is the Solomon Jones vid if any that hasn't seen it would like to.
  13. After going to like 25-30 Hawks games this year I finally met Dominique, go figure that it wasn't at a Hawks game. Lenny had an autograph session as well, I got him to sign an 8x10 of him smoking on that cigar back with the confetti coming down for years past. Best coach in Hawks history hands down. Can't go wrong with a 3x Hall of Famer!
  14. I don't see you going out to almost every Hawks game supporting the team like I do. I cheer for the team, but I don not clap for Smoove at all. I actually boo when the call his name during the starting lineup.
  15. I wouldn't even switch teams, just stop watching the NBA all together. I really hope Smoove is out.
  16. Guys I'm one of the biggest Hawks fans you'll meet. I've been with this team through the really rough years so to finally be in the postion Ferry has put us in for this summer forward has got me excited for things to come. However, his decision on Smoove is the most crucial decision he has to make this summer and will ultimately determine how good our team will be moving forward. Smoove has been a cancer to this team for as long as I can remember ( aside from maybe 2004 season, that whole squad was crap ). As long as he remains in a Hawks uniform this team will go no where, like being stuck in an endless black hole with no light at the end of the tunnel. I've dealt with him for 9 years too long, time for a change. I know this post is a bit early as we are still a few months away from free agency but I'm fed up. He thinks it's all about him, do you think he really cares about this team? NO, let's not forget his comments after the Boston series last year and everything that has escalated this season with his alleged remarks about how he thinks he is a max player. A team captain and veteran should not conduct himself this way, period. Even on the court he thinks it's all about him, sure he will pass the ball up occasionally but he loves to jack up those jumpers and tries to run the show like a point guard which results in him turning the ball over. Heck I can't even remember the last time I saw a J Smoove run down rejection do you? You can't, because he doesn't try anymore. He stays back and complains to the refs or just stays back moseying around like an idiot. He is just playing for that large amount of money coming his way this summer. Josh Smith is an embarrassment to this organization and to the city of Atlanta. I love what Danny Ferry has done thus far but to me his decision on Smoove will ultimately determine where this team will be for the next 3-4 years. If he retains Smoove, there is no hope for the Hawks.
  17. I would've accepted a deal for a new ball boy and a Wal-Mart discount card.
  18. I wouldn't offer Smoove a deal period, I wouldn't even give him 5 cents a year. Maybe I'd give him an invite to try out for the cheer leading squad and a 3 year all access pass to a shooters camp.
  19. I said "A LITTLE LIKE JENNINGS" he has the same physic, both are left handed. Both are quick, only real difference is LD2 is very turnover prone and his shot needs work. So basically not so much the play style but more or less physic.
  20. This kid reminds me of Brandon Jennings, I kinda like him actually. He needs work but he fits Danny Ferry's draft requirements... Being a 4 year college player. Plus assuming we extend his father LD, that may work out.
  21. If the Hawks re-sign Smoove... I don't think I could continue being a fan of this team. That's saying a lot because I'm a die hard fan.
  22. I'm not really a LD fan but considering the situation, where this team is positioned right now is still above expectations having only a few guys return from last year. I'm sure Danny Ferry will highly consider giving LD an extension. What if we then draft his son, LD II, at some point during the draft? I have to say I'm not opposed, the kid can ball. Honestly guys, LD II reminds me a little of Brandon Jennings... a little.
  23. He is doing well in my opinion, ran the point really well as the backup guy last night. For him to still be learning the offense I'm pretty impressed.
