This is true, but those teams didn't have Trae, and I think Collins+Sabonis has more offensive upside. I'm not saying go all in on him but I find it VERY intriguing. I think Sabonis can do a lot of the things Horford does offensively as a 5, maybe even better. The defensive gap is wide of course.

I think Sabonis is worth that in a vacuum thanks to his offensive tools. For us? The Collins fit gives me some pause, but if they could be solid enough defensively they would destroy teams inside.

Ibaka is a decent fit, I'd definitely do the Dieng deal.

Sabonis is almost a perfect fit offensively, and I think he can stretch his range to the 3. Think he's a little underrated defensively too. I'd deal, say, Bembry and a pick for him. Nothing crazy. Fwiw I think he's better defensively than Len

He should just shoot floaters from the 3 point line.

But his defensive effort has been consistently great all preseason. He hits his 3 and we're talking bonafide "s" word.

I hate to sound like a broken record, but Hunter can really play.

His defense hasn't been great but he looks alright on offense to me.

Len's hands are atrocious.

I don't wanna use the "s" word, but I think it might describe a couple players on our roster in due time: Damian Jones and Evan Turner. My worry was (and still is) whether he can guard the 4 either. He still has a lot to prove with both.

Our defense didn't look great with Parker/Collins on the floor. I'm starting to buy Collins might not be a C. I was on the "put him at C" train but he just doesn't protect the rim enough. That's a mighty high bar you've set my friend.

Well it's not just a "superstar" thing. He has the handle, wiggle and mentality (getting into the paint wise) to actively DRAW those fouls. Not just get handed them. We haven't had many players like that.
