  1. Steph Curry doesn't play heliocentric Basketball. He is an elite player movement type and Klay is a player movement type. Those guys resemble the 60 wins Hawks but with a lot more talent.
  2. It's the same as Bron/Luka/Trae is all just an high end variance of the same bullshit. The wings stand a lot. Only wings and guards that get better from this shit are guys Korver, Klay, J.R. Smith, Snell. Guys who are either movement specialist who run around to get open and they are sharps, spot up specialists like J.R. Smith, and guards who are just scoring based with some movement who really don't need touches like that, like Mo Williams. Anyone who needs touches? Nope. Look at this shit: Kyle left Bron ball and instantly started playing well. Part of the reason Utah got Clarkson for so cheap was he sucked in Bron Ball. Bron/Luka/Trae ball is trash. I love all three of these generational rare talents but their style of heliocentric offense is ASS! And I am someone who think's Bron is GOAT. But this offense is so limiting. Almost everyone around them has to be very good shooters or better. What makes matters worse, Trae defense is WOAT so you almost got to get him around stacked defensive players. But he's so small, you need some extra ball handlers but how many 3&D guys got handles, NONE! It's like trying to build a team in a small cage. It's limiting. Idk. This shit is hard. All of them get more out of bigs than anything, especially Trae. All of them need shooters around for spacing. Man, I am not enjoying watching Trae right now more than any other Hawk. He's ruining shit. I've always said, boom or bust. He doesn't have a middle ground. He's not like Delon where he has a high center even if he has low ceilings.
  3. Lakers made this deal thinking it will get them over because Kuz doesn't fit Bron ball and now look at their asses. Bron is at the 5 and Russ is stinking it up viciously. Kuz showing all star production of late.
  4. Batum has a NTC. Morris has too many years left I do wonder how a Eric Bledsoe would help the squad. He's like a better Goodwin.
  5. There have been fools gold teams before like Milwaukee with Ray Allen and the injury prone no Nurkic Blazers but Atlanta likely takes the cake.
  6. Yall gotta stop this Trae off the ball shit. It's the most annoying thing ever. He got no movement skills and now you talking about using him as if he's Seth Curry. f***ing ridiculous
  7. He is a tad slower but he's been prone to giving up too many open 3s every season he's played in so far including last year. Some on here will cry that last year COVID schedule wasn't impactful but why were we so lucky with giving up open 3s % last year and so unlucky this year is a massive question.
  8. Our player movement outside of JC has always been bad. The only two bigs since I consider JC a versatile tweener forward which is how I saw Sap although they are different overall isn't guys who can guard 5s is Dedmon and Capela. While Okongwu can finish and occassionally roll. He's more of a screener to screen than a screener to score. Cam has movement skills but his movement BBIQ is low. Kev and Trae lack the stamina. Some here will cry and say give Trae a chance with a star but I watched John Wall and other PGs with low two way stamina do the same shit throughout their careers. Just because you want them to do it doesn't mean they will and just because JC overcame massive odds doesn't mean everyone else will. This offense worked when the 1/5 PnR was nearly unstoppable and ball movement was exceptional regardless of Trae having a good game. I do think the lost of Knight and Goodwin just hasn't been good for us. Goodwin had an extremely high swing compared to Wright but he occasionally fit. Wright just doesn't fit at all offensively and that's critical because we are a heliocentric ball movement based offense when it works. Knight just hasn't been replaced at all and Gallo and Lou regression is hurting us like VCs regression did a couple of years ago. I already mentioned our over reliance on the 1-5 PnR and a lack of heart and leadership is an issue. I do think Solo lost in the locker room hurts. I do think TLC is a massive drop down from Snell and last year Hill and while Hill production dropped, his impact was higher on this squad than last year's which tells me players who know how to play is still very much missing from this squad. Atlanta needs quality vets but vets who want no shine. Atlanta got too many people who want shine already. They need more Snell and Hill but more effective than TLC.
  9. The easiest fix is trade for a locker room leader. Solo is out. Trade for someone to replace him
  10. They didn't get clean looks to start the 3rd. Miami made adjustments and they couldn't get clean looks. When they did get them was when the game was out of hand.

  12. They did but the Hawks made a lot too. In the 2nd half, a lot of those threes were contested and when it was wide open, they were pressing already down a ton.
  13. If Buddy was on this team, you would be saying the opposite. Playing with Trae is not easy for a wing.
  14. I dont know what people want from JC.
  15. This is obvious. When Cam is back, does he start Cam and bench TLC, for good!
  16. Its impossible to run a different system than what the starters run and have success. You can't be heliocentric then go to being a ball movement team. It just don't work like that
  17. He's fine against offensive centers who are the eco system of their offense. The guys Capela struggles but he's can't do what Clint does. His PnR just isn't there most of the time. He's a great defender but he doesn't defend the paint or the rim unless someone is directly attacking him. Considering how much we need help side defense from our center and paint protection, Clint is just much more critical but Okongwu has more value v. The Jokic, Embiid, and those types of centers.
  18. Northcyde gonna get mad at you and troll you and say you just blaming Trae. I already said. Our defense isn't bad. Its literally just Trae. Offensively, yeah, we suck balls.
  19. 1. Heart is this team's biggest issue. This is where I can see them missing Solo and even Snell. VC had mad heart too. A lack of a leader is killing these guys. 2. Capela was way underrated by me. While I still see the benefit of Sabonis being massive, I can see not having Capela in being massive. 3. Trae ball sucks if the ball movement isn't there which it isn't. No one can play in this shit. It's so f***ing ugly and I noticed the PnR with the 1/5 is gone and it's killing Trae. Trae abuses that PnR so bad and without it, he gets stuck a lot. This is why he can't play well with the bench units either. Trae is way too 1/5 PnR reliant. The issue with JC he just lacks the strength which has always been the case which is why I said JC's 1/4 or even him at the 5 doesn't work. We need a real 5 to run that PnR with Trae and JC is the 2nd PnR/PnP option. This team has talent but it's not being used right and I do not believe coaching was the issue today if you know what I mean.
  20. Kev just got beat off the dribble via first step from DUNCAN ROBINSON. Come on son!
  21. Trae is such a bad decision maker for a lead PG. While he's the most skilled player and his level of Bron ball had at times surpassed Bron. Luka and Bron play way smarter ball than Trae. When Trae plays like this, he looks like Trae Marbury.
  22. That helped too as well as teams missing way too many open 3s. That team had a lot of luck on their side in the RS. In the playoffs, that was real but the RS was fugazi.
