  1. Yep. He's done a good job on his big trades. Carroll trade for two 1sts which helped us get Capela and Hunter. He overpaid for Hunter and that's still up in the air but so far, he has a chance to win that deal. Capela deal is looking like a win. Poku is showing flashes but he wasn't gonna get in our rotation anyway. Trae and Cam for Luka deal will likely be up in the air till their careers end. But he's lost nearly most of the small deals or it's been negligible. This Delon deal is looking like it might be a win in a Teague deal way and that's not good. Negligible wins are similar to Negligible losses. He hasn't really had to make a major risk yet outside of the Carroll deal and he got well compensated for it.
  2. I have nothing right now. He said he will reach out to me tomorrow if he has any updates.
  3. I actually felt BK did a good job when it came to extensions but sucked at the draft which killed him. TS has been tremendous at the draft but now it's time to build a contender and make the right trades and signings. He's been very good all around so far but its gonna get hard now. Because the moves you make on all sides are evaluated. For BK When it came to trades, BK got an A- As part of a 4-team trade, the Atlanta Hawks traded Glenn Robinson and a 2006 2nd round draft pick (Daniel Gibson was later selected) to the Philadelphia 76ers; the Minnesota Timberwolves traded Terrell Brandon to the Atlanta Hawks; the Minnesota Timberwolves traded Marc Jackson to the Philadelphia 76ers; the New York Knicks traded Latrell Sprewell to the Minnesota Timberwolves; the Philadelphia 76ers traded Randy Holcomb and a 2007 1st round draft pick to the Atlanta Hawks; and the Philadelphia 76ers traded Keith Van Horn to the New York Knicks. Atlanta did not receive the 1st round draft pick from Philadelphia because it was lottery protected; they received cash instead. Grade for Hawks: B, should have got more than cash February 9, 2004 Traded Shareef Abdur-Rahim, Dan Dickau and Theo Ratliff to the Portland Trail Blazers for Wesley Person and Rasheed Wallace. Grade: I February 15, 2004 As part of a 3-team trade, the Atlanta Hawks traded Nazr Mohammed to the New York Knicks; the Milwaukee Bucks traded Joel Przybilla to the Atlanta Hawks; the Milwaukee Bucks traded Tim Thomas to the New York Knicks; the New York Knicks traded Michael Doleac and a 2005 2nd round draft pick (Ronny Turiaf was later selected) to the Atlanta Hawks; and the New York Knicks traded Keith Van Horn to the Milwaukee Bucks. Grade: Negligible February 19, 2004 As part of a 3-team trade, the Atlanta Hawks traded Rasheed Wallace to the Detroit Pistons; the Boston Celtics traded Chris Mills to the Atlanta Hawks; the Boston Celtics traded Mike James to the Detroit Pistons; the Detroit Pistons traded Željko Rebrača, Bob Sura and a 2004 1st round draft pick (Josh Smith was later selected) to the Atlanta Hawks; and the Detroit Pistons traded Chucky Atkins, Lindsey Hunter and a 2004 1st round draft pick (Tony Allen was later selected) to the Boston Celtics. Grade: A, only reason why it wasn't an A+ considering we were rebuilding is because Sara screwed up our lottery position with his heroics. August 4, 2004 Traded Alan Henderson, Jason Terry and a 2007 1st round draft pick to the Dallas Mavericks for Tony Delk and Antoine Walker. Dallas did not receive the 1st round pick because it was lottery protected; they received cash instead. Grade: F, his worst trade. August 16, 2004 Traded a 2005 2nd round draft pick (Ronny Turiaf was later selected) to the Charlotte Bobcats for Predrag Drobnjak. Draft: Negligible. December 23, 2004 Traded Jon Barry to the Houston Rockets for Tyronn Lue. Grade: A, Jon was a bad fit and Ty really added average value as a starter back then. Not easy to find in that NBA February 24, 2005 Traded Antoine Walker to the Boston Celtics for Tom Gugliotta, Gary Payton, Michael Stewart and a 2006 1st round draft pick (Rajon Rondo was later selected). Grade: A+, one of his best trades. Help us get Iso Joe August 19, 2005 Traded Boris Diaw, a 2006 1st round draft pick (Rajon Rondo was later selected) and a 2008 1st round draft pick (Robin Lopez was later selected) to the Phoenix Suns for Joe Johnson. Grade: A-, it's a A+ value but man, I really didn't want to trade that 2007 pick and got lucky it didn't convert. It's likely an A+ deal. August 22, 2006 Traded John Edwards and Al Harrington to the Indiana Pacers for a 2007 1st round draft pick (Acie Law was later selected). February 22, 2007 Traded a 2007 2nd round draft pick (Nick Fazekas was later selected) to the Dallas Mavericks for Anthony Johnson. Grade: A-, he wasn't that impactful but it was excellent value. February 16, 2008 Traded Anthony Johnson, Tyronn Lue, Shelden Williams, Lorenzen Wright and a 2008 2nd round draft pick (Sean Singletary was later selected) to the Sacramento Kings for Mike Bibby. Grade: A+, trading scrubs for an impact vet is an A1 deal. Bibby could have gotten a lot more if he wasn't so overpaid and Atlanta was loaded with cap space. BK signings were bad. Whereas Travis has been average, maybe below average. I would say he hit on Bogi. Travis has lost more trades than he's won but the Capela trade looks like a clear win. Ferry is the GOAT in Hawks history for trades and signings. Sadly, he is worse at drafting than even BK but BK had lottery picks so it's not a fair comparison. Travis will have to earn his bones moving future with extensions and trades. This is where Ferry shined and BK did well. So far Travis has underwhelmed. Interesting to see how Travis does. This is obviously gonna make or break him. For BK, his poor drafting got him fired. For Ferry, his racism got him fired or he would still be here.
  4. I disagree with the last paragraph but I agree with the rest. Spot on. TS has been very good so far. But his job like all GMs always get hard when contract extensions come. This is where TS will earn his cookies. I actually felt BK did a good job when it came to extensions but sucked at the draft which killed him. TS has been tremendous at the draft but now it's time to build a contender and make the right trades and signings. He's been very good all around so far but its gonna get hard now. Because the moves you make on all sides are evaluated.
  5. Okongwu is still really young. He could be more impactful but not consistent. People forget but we really are an extremely young team I've said it earlier, we need Snell back.
  6. Easily. He's extremely unlucky this year. Him, Terrence Ross, and Jalen Green. Especially Ross and Reddish. Its a lot of noise both ends. His production stats on both ends is no where close his impact stats. When stats are that noisy, it's just being unlucky. Cam and Ross and has worse noise stats in the last 8 seasons this year.
  7. I am aware of that. I just stated we need one of them.
  8. Capela's defense is still damn near excellent, just not elite in his own way. Capela fell off offensively and it shows but really, teams adjusted to Clint like a mfer on both ends. Bogi is extremely streaky, he still capable of do that shit again.
  9. I would say with Trae's elite progression on offense, we would have the best offense of all time. Trae might be the most skilled player to ever play in NBA history. Trae is special. You get an A2 to his A1. I think that's some Shaq and Kobe in their prime shit.
  10. JC is a beast as a 3rd option. He does so much for winning ball too. I don't think JC is the guy I'll take a shot at. That said, teams realized Atlanta can't create their own basket outside of Trae. Cam can be we all know how we used and treat Cam. Kev plays passive aggressive. Bogi is a shooter but he doesn't take that many shots if he's not wide open. It is what it is. We need Trae to be Trae. He is Basketball's Maradona for a reason. This is the most fraud great offense in NBA history. They are literally an one man bandstand.
  11. You right, I should have used usually instead of always.
  12. There is only like 4 offensive bigs who are stars or superstars. Most of the star or superstar bigs are defensive minded. Embiid elite at both but doesn't play PnR anywhere near as well as the others.
  13. A lot of the 3s is kinda bad luck. Generally teams don't make threes, even open like they do against the Hawks but teams are always in an offensive rhythm against us when Trae plays. Last year, teams missed so many against us, like a reverse of the guard persay. But yeah, we need do whatever it takes to get KAT. This shit ain't working. We need a mfer who can draw double teams. Always playing PnR with Trae, and making defenses go through hell every f***ing possession.
  14. From a talent stance and misuse of talent, hell yeah. But that playoff guarantee Hawks was the WOAT season in my fandom. I never wanted to rebuild so bad as a Hawks fan in my life and I always want to blow it up and rebuild. This team ain't that bad due to having Trae Young. They just gotta realize, this team needs a #2 option who's a big as wings will always be too inconsistent since Trae plays Bron ball. We gotta get KAT, Embiid, Jokic, or Sabonis. We gotta get an offensive star or superstar 5 who can play PnR and space the floor.
  15. @TheNorthCydeRises, remember when you was on one earlier. This is why trolling don't pay.
  16. He played his best defense in months. Even NC was on one for it earlier. Offensively tho...
  17. Trae had his best defensive game in months and we had our worst offensive game with him in months. Time for Trae to go back to WOAT mode on D so we can get his GOATness on offense.
  18. This might be our worst offensive game with Trae in months. Biggest issue was Trae damn near had to iso majority of the time. OO acting like Trae is Delon
  19. Wishlist 1. Embiid 2. Jokic Possibly 3. KAT If all fails 4. Sabonis
  20. Who do we blame now? Cam, hurt. Gallo and Lou basically didn't play or barely played. So who?
  21. Okongwu looking young as hell this game. His offensive impact has been nil. He's killing us on the PnR
