There is more than one draft. Have you ever seen the NBA before? You draft, then next draft, you draft. Everyone does it. It's called building a team. The first year is about finding your superstar than keep building.
You can say it's bad or good. Remember Lebron James and Melo? This reminds everyone else of that situation. Wiggins/Parker/Randle are being compared to Pippen/Melo/Webber.
Because after the 1st draft of a rebuild you are suppose to be a contender? It's called a build. Wiggins (or Parker, Randle, etc) is the franchise player you pick then build around.
This guy literally doesn't have a clue what is going on. Why would Hawks want Lin? Broussard doesn't care, he just thinks this sounds good after reading it from other people.
And more chances at early picks = better chances at Franchise players. Are we getting stars in free agency? But really I will be happy with anyone in next year's top 10 in the draft. Deep.
Hasn't sucked for the ones that was expecting this. I have already had a rebuild in mind. The thing that would suck is to sign Monta/etc to just stay in the playoffs.
I would trade AL for MKG and a 1st. Don't know if Bobcats want that, but they could, since it seems they want to be the next treadmill team. We would then have MKG and 2 2014 draft picks.
I would welcome this starting five: Dennis/Jenkins/Korver/Horford(unless we trade him for picks)/Muscala and next year hope we have a new SF by the name of Wiggins or Parker. Better than being on the treadmill.
Have the rookies start for us, see what draft picks we could get for Horford (if we trade him, tanking will be easy), and hope for Wiggins/Parker. Better than a treadmill team again.
