Yes the same Teague who couldn't run PnR and didn't even try on defense until Bud got here. Hardaway has had 2 seasons with bad coaches who's to say that THJ can't have a similar growth with this staff. I just don't know how y'all were ready to give a draft pick the benefit of the doubt but won't give a player who's only a year or 2 older than alot of these draft picks the same rope.

I understand the weaknesses in Hardaway but he's a proven rotation player which is what we need. Worst case he's a guard version of Mike Scott who can get hot and change a game (and as JR Smith showed us one hot game can change a playoff series), and best case the staff fixes his shot selection and effort on defense and he's a key long term piece. A rotation player is what you usually expect from the 15th/19th pick in a draft anyway and they got a proven one for a cheaper price.

I'm not too worried because I can't imagine them shooting like they did in the 2nd half again

It was Ugly as hell but still a W. The bench has to step up cause they keep losing those double digit leads and Mike Scott can't get those shots to fall then Moose needs to start getting those minutes.

Game 1 is usually the one the road team has the best chance of stealing so I'm not surprised it was closer than everybody thought it would be. The only things that concern me going forward is AL's injury and Millsap still not trusting that shoulder to take contact the rest is fixable

The whole "unproven in the playoffs" argument is stupid cause it applies to every team except the Spurs but ESPN's been hanging from Bron's nuts since day one so I don't think anybody should expect them to change now. It's pride thing most of these "experts" spent the whole offseason telling anybody that would listen that the east was Chicago and Cleveland with Toronto and Washington fighting for scraps. Now that a team that they didn't expect is running through their favorites (Chuck didn't think we'd make the playoffs) they're going to try to find every little thing they can to discredit it because if the Hawks make it far they all look like dumbasses. But we'll find out one way or another in April so there's nothing any of us can do now besides enjoy this run and laugh at people as we keep beating down the "favorites" in the east

Even though he was off today hearing Teague getting MVP chants from a sold out crowd was amazing
