Yeah, it also has to do with a lot of people in Atlanta are not really from Atlanta. Atlanta also have many people who are bandwagon fans of the Lakers, Celtics, Bulls, Spurs, and most recently Heat fans. I can't tell you how many people that I know in the state of Georgia who are Laker fans but have never been to LA or even California because there are so many. They are only fans because of their history.

I'm guessing the Cavs experience with Bennett being overweight and struggling last season could have played a factor into it. If Parker shows up to his drafted team around his more normal playing weight, then we will know that he probably tried to screw the Cavs over by trying to make them believe that he was really a fatass. It is very odd and extreme though.
