    Good lord that would be god awful for us i wouldn't even give Murray for that package without extra picks coming our way much less Trae. At minimum to get Trae they gonna have to come up off AD for me to even look that way.

    I have always hated how the nba draft picks thing works. Like how dumb is it that the longer you have to wait for a pick the more screwed you can get lol. It should be the opposite the longer you have to wait for a pick to convert the lower the pick requirements drop until you 100% get the pick. It should NEVER become 2nd round picks. It should keep lowering until you guarantee get the 1st you traded for to begin with.

    This one is easy for me as a Duke fan. My boy Jalen becoming the monster that i know he can and will be and everyone else jumping on board who didn't like him but then converting them slowly but surely

    Interesting it might be just as simple as he is better than backups but not as good as most starters. So when in with bench guys he can feast on them. But for his contract cost you probably need more than that but it's still a quality player to have off the bench if he could keep it up as a 6th man.

    If you could show me the way i would love to see it i would be open arms if you can find us another star to pair with trae thats a big.

    I put Trae on the Donovan Mitchell area of trade value. Nothing that a Lebron, KD, Embidd tyoe of player could pull but a strong enough package back that could get you a star quality player back later. Maybe something like a mid tier player + 4 1sts and a swap or 2. or a young potential player and 4 to 5 1sts but no swaps.

    I agree it has to be someone as good or better than Trae. I have no issue with the contract trae has or the person coming in trae has. It's more so i think you need traes assets to be able to get a player of his capabilities to pair with murray and jalen. I don't think anyone on the team can get you a package like Trae can to possibly lure you another star to rebuild this team. Like if we keep trae i don't see any viable way our front office can build the correct team around him now.

    I don't think Tra eis trash for me it's the complete opposite i think Trae is a very good offensive player. My issue is more so i don't think they front office is now capable of building the right team around trae. We had a good shot at it a few years back with the clean slate and alot of cap room. They screwed it up and now it's going to be very hard to do with the rest of the players they have on the team now. I still think Trae on the right team with the right players can win a championship so my love for him as a player is still strong my love and belief in the hawks front office to get him there is very low.

    Im talking about the 15 to 20 mil difference in cap between murray and trae. Having that available to be able to put toward another star. As far as what Superstar my friend you never know who will come available at anytime. But you gotta have the assets and young pieces to pull the trigger when they do. Best display of this might be Trae this summer if he gets moved the teams who have built up assets like the Spurs can make a big play for him and bam there is your next star to pair with your current star. We would need those trae assets in a trade to be able to to jump on one if they come available. Sadly no one else besides Trae has the value to move to end up getting us another star quality player of his capabilities at a different position than PG. If i thought Murray, Onyeka, AJ, and a few 1sts could get us back a superstar i would 100% in on that. Where as the massive package you get back from trae + Onyeka, AJ, Hunter etc... would be a VERY competitive offer for anyone coming available the next few years.

    Yeah if anyone says Trae has no heart they are full of crap i might be one of the main people on the trade trae train. But i will never question the mans heart and love for basketball and i don't see how anyone can.

    Im with you on this one i actually quite like Trae as a person and a player. I think on the right team and with the right type of players he can succeed. I also unlike you think he is a max player but he 1000% needs to be your 2nd max player behind a true superstar. If you paired Trae with a Embidd, Giannis, Joker type of player a true elite star big. Trae would be a MONSTER robin type of player. Sad part is we can't do that here now with the assets we have left and the contracts we have. The only chance to improve this team to that level to be able to maybe get one of those one day. Is to move Trae and try to pair that new superstar with Jalen and Murray. Murray doesn't have quite the value to get one of those guys back. But trae does and it also saves cap space to put toward another max guy since we got murray so cheap. I would love to see Trae with a player like Wemby next to him that would be magical imo if Wemby hits what i think his peak can be. I wish we could have found a way to do that for Trae here but i don't see a way to do it now after the FO screwed up so many times.

    Im not able to watch the game right now but seeing you go in this much on Trae sorta has me shook lol. Thats your guy over like everyone of us lol. I don't think i have ever seen you on his butt like this before.

    Yeah im with you on that one and im pretty sure their are atleast 4 or 5 guys in the 11 to 20 range this year that will end up being better than guys in the 11-20 range next year. You just gotta pick the right one like we did with Jalen lol. Next years class might be stronger but doesn't mean every player will be better than this years. I'll take that pick if possible because you can always trade it if need be this year in a bigger trade for a star if you know 100% you have it locked.
