I see nothing but videos of highlights in here. Anybody seen his draftexpress video? Does a good breakdown of his strength and weaknesses. The passing and feel for the game is covered well. But the weaknesses are very alarming. Poor defense (post and perimeter), loose handle, can't keep a defender in front of him, slow release with a slow sample size of good shooting. Basically the kid is being set up to get exposed. The lovefest is getting out of control. The Magic Johnson comparison is absurd.

"Lights out shooter"< clearly shows you dont know what hes capable of. He was not a volume shooter from 3. Passing is not a weakness in this ball club. He is not a real rebounder as he took advantage of shorter defenders which he wont see in the league. There is no bias in my observations because I want the most talented players here as Hawks.

I feel you as far as our coaches knowing what they want during interviews but the same can be said about any other candidate. I feel kyle anderson is redundant to a certain degree because he is good passer (we are top 5 asst) and hes unathletic like the rest of our wings. Ferry himself recently mentioned we NEED to get athletic. We also need good shooting with defensive potential. There are plenty that bring those qualities. as far as this staff, I am confident they can teach passing and improve shooting as was done with demarre. Now we've also discussed that a kawhi type player is what is ideal for coach bud at sf. Kyle is not that. James young can be for example.

The condition of his body is a good indicator of his work ethic. I mean even jabari came to his workouts 15 lbs lighter. All these Top flight prospects in this draft and yall want this guy smh

I believe we are on the cusp of becoming that big market. I also believe if we bring him over and we continue to play great basketball, then he wont want to leave after being in a winning environment for the first time in his career.

What about a trade like teague + bebe + 15 pick for irving and varajao we get our superstar....they dont have to max him out + we give them young prospects

Why is this asik deal the only rumor we hear? Are there no other viable trade targets? Its frustrating to constantly see teams targeting our best players and not offering anything of substantial value.
