lets say we ARE winning. Dennis will have started to blossom, players have just begun mastering the system, and we become a serious contender in the mold. Why on earth would he leave something he developed as his own? A franchise that he resurrected from quick rebuild. Players he hand-picked. I just fail to see the logic in him leaving something he built and is successful for a franchise where he will always live under the shadow of Coach Pop.

this guy knows what he's talking about. Them harrison twins will be busts. They just arent elite at anything nor are they that athletic.

I actually do and I watched him closely all season as I knew we were targeting a wing. Are we supposed to fault him for not having the opportunity? look, the harrison twins werent that much of a threat. They both were lost for the majority of the season and their lack of explosion really held them back. The twins shooting was very mediocre on top of that so james young didnt even have the spacing required to demonstrate his handling. Heck randle and dakari clogged the paint as well so what you expect. He also was forced to take a ton of bad shots late in the clock to bail his team out. Bottomline, he measured out great, he has a beautiful stroke that will improve, good elevation, the clutch gene, and his wingspan gives him a chance to be great defensively. Im not one to buy he played with to many good players. Damn near all of them had worse flaws lol.

Young is perfect for our needs. People complain about how stacked his team was, but there is a reason coach cal always called his number in crunch time. The kid is a flat out gamer. He has one of the highest quickest releases from 3. I'd say its a blessing he didnt play by himself like tj warren because he surely would have played his way into the top 10.

yup, the kid definitely has some upside. Makes me think we get a really good shooting guard in the 1st like stauskas or young. Those 2 picks would add much needed depth, youth, and athleticism on the wings.

My gut tells me we're the team that gave damien ingles the promise that made him stay in the draft. I think he's going to be our 2nd round pick. He fits the kawhi leonard mold imo

Syracuse doesn't exactly have a great track record with their nba prospects. I was high on ennis and still like him, but the last 2 months of the season made me cool down a bit. I know some believe he got worn down and it was evident at times but the nba has 82+ games so it's not like things will get easier. I think he's a starter but his upside is no where near dennis Schröder's. our pg and pf positions are practically set. Lets shift focus to wings and a center.

A Schröder/Lavine backcourt sounds very promising with the type of coaching staff we have. If developed correctly they could turn into a deadly combo.

Lavine wont be as big a liability defensively than kyle anderson.

Only way I would take him is with #15 if we were able to flip horford for a top 3 pick and get wiggins or parker. He def has some demarcus cousins to his game tho.
