  1. Just to piggy back on what u said, I believe I read somewhere ferry is unimpressed with the wings projected to drop to us. So that adds to the possibility of us drafting elfrid payton. I like payton, but im not sure I like the idea of not getting a young wing in a "wing heavy" draft.
  2. I wouldebe very satisfied to come away with james young. Hr has the clutch gene
  3. Im actually starting to like tj warren more and more as this draft moves closer. I like the rashard lewis comparison, although that 3 pter needs work
  4. the factory one on my phone. Thanks anyway, closing it seemed to do the trick.
  5. thanks for the help dolfan23, but every time I click it..it just sends me back to the top of the page. Weird because it usually does work.
  6. Say guys, I know this isnt the place but im having trouble getting back to the mobile version of this site. Any suggestions?
  7. Good catch, 15th pick still not a lottery pick lol. But seriously, it is amazing what they've been able to do without any lotto picks. Kind of a coincidence coach bud gets the 15th pick in a sf/sg heavy draft again. Hopefully he will go 2 for 2 and get us a promising player.
  8. Im not too worried about the scoring by committee statement by bud. Its the spurs way and it has been successful. outside of duncan everyone on that team is later picks. Granted they got lucky with ginobili and parker being steals but I dont think the spurs have ever had a pick as high as 15 this decade. We will pick a good wing. Our players will develop. We still remain flexible cap wise. Sounds good to me
  9. I think it was a couple other posters saying they can bring their chemistry to the hawks, which is far from the truth. anywho, lavine has been my choice since early in the season. Him and teague in the backcourt is scary..both can shoot and both are lightning quick. Defensively lavine needs a lot of work but he can bring us a little star power potentially. atlanta fans I think would get behind lavine before kyle anderson. Especially the Fairweather fans.
  10. You earn playing time in this league with defense. Mo harkless is a better defender and he rides pine. Look how long it took mike scott to get on the floor and he is a weapon offensively. Bud wont play him until he isnt a liability. kyle's go-to move is bumping you on the drive with the left shoulder and flipping up a shot with the right using the glass. That is food in the nba. His passing is phenomenal and I wouldnt mind him off the bench. There are just too many potential starters in this draft with actual physical tools that I believe snyder and bud can mold. The way his iq is talked about, you'd think we were drafting a 10 yr vet. How slow will he be when he gets old? mine as well bring in paul pierce instead LOL
  11. glad to know everybody isnt delusional in this thread
  12. first off, paul pierce was athletic coming out of college and for the majority of his time as a celtic. Dead that please second, you just basically excused every weakness the kid has. We can do the same with every single prospect if we want, but the reality is these weaknesses hold tons of prospects back when they get in the league. Kyle is no jabari and he came in with the highest body fat at the combine. I dont think that'll be as big an issue, its more his work ethic I question for coming to the combine lookin like that. My biggest concern is sf like melo, bron, and kd killing him on defense. We need a kawhi type tbh. Btw, just cause you get steals n blocks does not make you a good defender. Iverson led the league in steals but is far from a good defender. Durant's handles are better and he is way faster than kyle. I dont hate the guy, I just want to temper expectations. Rookies get playing time by how well they defend and the way kyle's defense is, we might not see him much this season if hes drafted.
  13. Funny how people make up what they want to believe. These guys didn't show chemistry in ucla, but I'll let yall tell it.
  14. Helllllllll nooooo. We just throwing in kyle korver like that LOL
  15. So far thats the worst workout vid I've seen. He didnt look that good and they didnt even show any misses smh. That stepback aint fooling nobody and he moves like a stretch big. Ewwww
  16. I dont think jenkins will ever be as effective as korver. Sure dmc got cold in the series near the end, but he was hot for the 1st 3 games. He didnt shoot as poorly overall and I dont think jenkins would have made much of a diff. that being said, I dont think its time to give up on him. I think they do see him as the danny green, but I just wish he was a little more dynamic
  17. his workout vid left me very unimpressed. I cant see him shining on the perimeter nor will he be a good post up option. Only way I see him blossoming is if he's running alongside a "rondo" and finds a niche as a lockdown defender. I cant see him avg 20 points ever.
  18. this is correct. Lavine's father was displeased with the fact lavine didnt even get to run the 2nd unit and that the coach was grooming his son for next season's starting pg duties. Rather than transfer, his father felt it was best to head to the nba
  19. Noah also shitted on the city of cleveland lol. I dont think Noah would welcome the trade as much as the bulls might.
  20. to be quite honest, teague is just a placeholder for dennis to me. We were at our best in the playoffs with the ball in teague's hands. When I judge kyle's fit, I take dennis' into account. Kyle wouldnt fit as a finisher for dennis once he's ready to be our lead pg. We need knockdown shooters to help dennis find lanes. I am optimistic about dennis assuming a bigger role next yr btw.
  21. If we got #1 and #15....I'd like to come away with wiggins and nurkic. end up with teague korver wiggins millsap nurkic
  22. for one, embiid is not a wing player like wiggins. They both play off the ball well too. again, you must not be someone that watched ucla all season. Kyle kept the ball out of lavine's hands and so did bryce alford. If lavine is to become a westbrook type player, he doesnt need to play with 2 point guards in the lineup (kyle and teague). Lavine would work better with a shutdown defender who can knock down 3s at sf. Kyle belongs on a team with shooters all around him and a pg that likes to play off the ball.
  23. the kid is an ok prospect. But dolfan has seen enough highlight vids to believe he's magic johnson lite and a perfect for our system LOL.
  24. why should anyone trust me? You are taking this personal, relax friend. Your opinion outweighs mine and you havent didnt even watch him, get a grip. You want lavine and anderson together when that duo clearly didnt work together well on the college level. your right about the late teens thing as I meant late 20s Andre miller wasnt always this slow btw. He was deceptively quick in Utah. A couple summaries, and a bunch of highlights have you in love with kyle. Its disgusting. Your biased. perfect fit? I dont see anything kawhi about him to merit that conclusion. How about grab someone with sone elite potential as opposed to a rotational player. I know basketball, friend. I played and have been watching for years. My credibility should not be what you question. You shouldnt be the one to speak when you havent seen ucla at all lol. I know what translates and this kid wont. Sure that rains on your parade but dont take it personal.
