One day Dennis isn't going to get back up from one of his half dozen pancake flops on the floor each night and it will be nice to have a third option.

Need to tell Dennis Schröder to slow it down till playoff time. I don't think I've seen anyone hit the floor as often except maybe D.Wade. They probably shouldn't sit anyone for the whole night but definitely give less minutes to the starters. I looks like they are coming out of the funk they picked up on the road but we can't afford to lose any of our starters for long periods in the playoffs.

I've got a feeling that there are too many knuckle heads on that team. What's the saying about having one dummy in the locker room but don't let him have a friend. He'd be a great center to have on the right team with a good coach but I'll not sure where a team like Atlanta would even fit him in. We need a good backup center not another starter/potential starter sitting on the bench.

Hopefully we see more Brand than Pero in the next couple of weeks. Pero's defense/offensive has seemed pretty poor for quite a while now and Brand looked much better on defense tonight.

I quit betting a several years back on the NBA after I had one game covered and it was dribble out time when some ********* decided to chuck up a near half court three. You could hear people bitching in the stands ... same boat as me and the announcer even commented on it. Way to many ups and downs even with predictable teams in a half plus add in all the back to back, 3 or 4 in 5s, and just the fact that sometimes teams don't even bother to show up. NBA betting isn't easy and I always thought that it was best to hit the NBA early or late in the season. Early on Vegas hasn't quite figured out all the teams and late in the season playoff teams busted ass when lottery teams ... well try to win the lottery.

I think teams are starting to figure out what the Hawks are doing offensively and started dropping back into the passing lanes (turnovers 2nd half) off the picks that were so easy the first quarter. My buddy is a Heat fan and warned me a few weeks ago that we will start seeing the best from every team even the crappy ones almost every night. This is something that the Hawks haven't had to deal with before and they are going to have to clean up some of the sloppy play before the playoffs. For now they can rest a little bit for the Allstar game.

I'd laugh if it ended up being something like Memphis vs Atlanta ... ESPN/NBA wouldn't even know what to do. I think alot of fans would root for Atlanta just because we don't have a "superstar" and they also get tired of the Lebron/KD/Wade/Etc crap thrown at you every night on ESPN.

This team and Coach Bub have seen enough playoffs to realize that a regular season win streak will mean nothing in the playoffs. Now if they approach the all time record and it could be different with it thrown in their faces every 2 minutes. I just hope they keep letting the bench get experience and rest starters so we don't have anyone else get hurt.
