Should of taken the Cavs 99.5 too! Its down to the 95.5. now and would of been a decent chance to middle it.

I think the Hawks could live with something in that range with the cap boost coming up. Teague/Horford are still a decent bargain but it really probably depends on if they go for a true center and resign Milsap.

Unfortunately for the Hawks, DMC, and Millsap the cap won't have a huge increase next season. It will be the 2 years after that the players will see the huge pay days. Maybe they can get them to sign one year deals so they can stay but I doubt their agents will be happy with that. The cap is supposed to be around 100 million in a few years and some teams may overpay now with that in mind.

I'd like to see a similar lineup at some point because everyone would be a legit scorer but I'd bet Bazemore will see the start.

All the Hawks play hard almost 100% of the time with maybe the exception of Teague but I don't think he feels good in his case. He just looks pretty fatigued from a long season but Sap puts it all on the line. These Hawks aren't quitters ... that is one thing that is for sure.

Cavs under 99.5. Hopefully JR cools off and the Hawks keep Lebron from setting NBA records.

Kinda lost with why Bud is playing Dennis with Teague when they pull Korver or Carroll. Bazemore is much better defense/rebounding than Dennis and usually one of the PGs sits in the wing doing nothing when they are both playing. It's not like they have some great chemistry on offense when they are both on the floor. Hell Moose could do more for the Hawks filling in for Korver/Carroll than Dennis.

Not over until we hear more on the Carroll injury. If Bud keeps pulling the starters 6 minutes into the game when they are rolling we deserve to lose. Our offense went to shit pretty much as soon as Lebron went out with 2 fouls and he changed the lineup. Teague needs to man up and play more minutes in this series. Dennis isn't ready for playoff basketball yet. Bud should of been running up the score in the first instead of resting guys.

Most of the specific matchup stuff is probably discussed when they look at film and its probably a little late if you addressing this in game. I'm sure most players already understand who they will be covering when they enter a game and as a team get a sense of who needs help.

We have a shot to get the title and anything else should be a letdown. This is probably as close as this roster will get without some changes next year and the one after so they better put it all on the floor. I personally won't be satisfied unless they win a title but would definitely be proud if they go to the finals. This isn't the 91 Braves ... they have been in the playoffs on a regular basis and have preformed extremely well since Thanksgiving. Hopefully they expect themselves to win it all now.

Figured everyone knows this is how it goes with any Georgia based sports team. Hopefully it drives the Hawks to play better because they seemed to loose focus after the All-Star Break validated their talent and hard work. I doubt Houston will be getting any good words from the media if they beat the Clippers today.

They've had plenty of close games to learn that in so far ... now is time to apply it or we will be going home. Teague looked great late in the last game like he got some confidence back and he's probably the most important part in this series coming up. If he runs the offense the way he did at the end of game 6 we will win this series because every one starts getting into the grove when he does.

I don't know ... Memphis couldn't beat GS so there won't be any Memphis/ATL finals. I guess a Houston/ATL finals would have them crying just as bad. I'm not sure what the commentators would being saying in that situation since the media doesn't seem to care about either market.

Bench has to be used differently in the playoffs than regular season and hopefully we do a better job in the next series with substitutions. I hate when Dennis is left in for too long because at this stage in his career he's still a one trick pony. Drive to the right side of the basket every time won't always work in crunch time. Defenses have been adjusting quite well to the Hawks when they don't play Hawk's ball like we did in Dec/Jan. Starters have to play more in the playoffs and the constant changes in lineup aren't always helping.

His shot didn't even hit the rim ... he was blocked and Horford was lucky enough to get the rebound off the backboard. Don't act like he had a Paul P moment lol.

Nobody's calling for hero ball ... just a starting pg with the balls to want to be on the floor in game winning moments. Dennis played just as bad as Teague for all but about 3 minutes including missing his last shot. Atleast Dennis has the balls to be in the game when it really matters I guess but if Horford hadn't bailed out the Hawks we would of heard the same comments as game 3. Why wasn't DC on the floor for the last shot for Game 3 and why wasn't his starting PG in for the last shot of Game 5. Dennis didn't win game 5 or make a conscious decision that even helped ... Millsap knocking over Wizards like bowling ball pins and Horford flying through the air like a mad man won that game.

There are alot of refs that all NBA fans would like to see "retire" and others that need some serious retraining or sent home for good. Some may of course be doing the NBA's bidding just like NFL has "this year that will be called every time" type adjustments but the NBA has quite of few standout refs for the wrong reasons. Pretty sad when I was sport betting NBA that other than matchups or situations the ref for the game played a big role in the types of wagers you placed.

Agreed. Selfless attitude but I much rather have my "starters" want to be in the game for playoff winning shots not riding the bench. Game three was different because the bench brought us back from a huge deficit. I can't possibly see Bird, Jordan, or Lebron saying let the bench finish this playoff game for me. They "may" pass the ball for someone to take the last shot but when you're an all-star you fight to be on the court.

Teague, Dennis , and Milsap about killed us with the turnovers. Horford was the only one that shined tonight for pretty much the whole game. Korver contributed some steals/rebounds but has to bring more next game.

Need to finish this in Washington. Do don't want to see a game 7 at all.

Has Love done the player option for next year? FA is going to be crazy the next 2 off seasons with so many players entering the market because of the way they ended their contracts to hit with the salary cap bump. Cleveland is pretty much setup for this season and next ... they've only got a couple of people signed past that so they have a slim window. If Love comes back it probably wouldn't take alot to see him on the trade floor.
