  1. Put a lot of unselfish players around him that fit the team first concept.

    Collateral

There is too much talking in this movie, if i wanted to learn about life i would read a philosphy book. this is supposed to be a movie with a lot of killings and cruise acting insanely but he looks more like an old executive person
  3. Yo, i was thinking why doesn't Billy Knight try and get international players like Sarunas Jasikevius and a few other good ones to play for Atlanta. If they are giving that much trouble to the international American team they should be good in the NBA. Plus many of them can probably come cheap. If we mix a few of those players with american athletic players we should be a good team, shouldn't we? Your thoughts?
  4. Nicely said Eeee, i couldn't agree with yo more. American basketball is soooooo flawed. what i was thinking was here in america Lebron james is considered to be the basketball saviour because of all his "unquestionable skills" but overseas he probably would even have trouble making a team.that's how much difference there is between the internatinal and NBA game. Also i was thinking why doesn't atlanta assemble a team like lithunia, get the lithunanian players for cheap and put them in an Atlanta uniform. That team could be deadly considering all the trouble the are giving the americans and we can put some american athletic players in there too.
  5. This trade is too one sided for Atlanta and San Antonio will not trade parker. BEno is not even half the player Parker is.
  6. We should've gotten him. Toronto gets a steal considering his non guaranteed contract. Woods might turn out to be a half decent centre and we should've at least made an offer similar to toronto's.
  7. i would love to see this deal go down. Dalembert is quick and athletic and improving upon his potential. Mckie is a nice role player. Great trade for Atlnata. kenny thomas is definetly a capable player and is a good pf but his contract is a bit expensive. Still i support this deal. Billy Knight listen to diesel.
  8. Yao is probably tired of playing basketball for 10 months a year every year. he plays every year internationally and then has to play at a high level in the NBA. Imagine Yao pushing shaq like that, that would be hilarious.
  9. Good luck man, have a great time and don't forget to cheer the hawks. If you don't mind answering this, what is the tuition costs at Eastern Kentucky.
  10. From the other point of view, i can't believe a judge would let information be leaked in such a high profile case and if the judge is cracking jokes as the father implies, it seems to be extremely offensive and disrespectful.
  11. Since no one is posting anything today, i'll ask you lovely people(including you Hotlanta) to make some predictions- Here are mine MVP-Shaquille O'Neal - Will be motivated and ready to dominate the east. Look for miami to be second in the east. Coach of the year- Bzdelik. Denver will have a good if not great season and Bzdelik will probably get some acclaim. I hope he wins. However i think he will have a close fight with Jerry Sloan. ROY- OMEKA OKAFOR- He will have plenty of opportuities to to prove himself since he is playing on Charlotte. All rookie first team Omeka Okafor Rafael Araujo Jameer Nelson Josh Childress Ben Gordon(Even though i don't like him in chicago and don't think he will be that good, i think he will score around 13 points a game since crawford isn't there anymore).
  12. Is it possible to change my username without losing my post counts?
  13. one of the reason you shouldn't take drugs. Died when 56.
  14. Carter is not going anywhere. the raptors GM has he is not looking into trading carter.
  15. With the Hawks dealing Jason Terry for Antoine Walker, we are left with an emaciated backcourt. As of now, only Royal Ivey and Tony Delk are capable of playing point guard. We cannot go into the season with that combination running the offense. Let's take a look at who the Hawks can trade, or sign, to be our floor general next season... POINT GUARDS AVAILABLE IN TRADE: *Frank Williams-Frank is an extremely talented point guard who was underutilized during his time in New York. His playing time was erratic, though when he got the chance to start, he put together a very impressive string of games where he averaged 15ppg and 6apg. Then, Stephon Marbury came to town, and Williams was sent back to the bench. Now, he's been traded to the Chicago Bulls in the Jamal Crawford deal. The Bulls are loaded in the backcourt, especially at point guard; they already have Kirk Hinrich, Ben Gordon, Chris Duhon, and Jannero Pargo under contract. I think the Hawks have a very good chance of landing Frank. A deal to consider would be to sign and trade Bobby Sura(whom the Bulls are interested in) and some second round picks for Williams and a filler(ie Chris Jefferies). *Troy Bell-Troy is another young point guard who has been buried on the bench. He plays for Memphis, a team that is already two-deep at point with Jason Williams and Earl Watson. It will be tougher to trade for Bell, simply because Memphis only lacks size, which is the exact same thing the Hawks lack, so any trade would have to involve a third team. *Jeff McInnis-He might be the toughest to trade for since his performance at the end of last season really increased his value. Though, the addition of Eric Snow might be an indication the Cavs are not completely sold on J-Mac. Furthermore, Jeff was very unhappy when he heard that they made the move for Snow. That could possibly lead to a trade demand later in the summer, or at the trade deadline. Cleveland has a need for frontcourt scoring and we have Chris Crawford, who proved he can be an effective scorer, when healthy. Maybe we could deal him and some picks, or cash, for McInnis. POINT GUARDS AVAILABLE IN FREE AGENCY: *Kenny Anderson-Kenny is a well-traveled veteran point guard who would bring a lot of experience to the team. Since we are so young and basically every position, it might be a good thing to have an experienced player running the offense. We could have some trouble signing him since most point guards this summer have been getting very nice contracts. It would not be wise to offer him anything more than a minimum deal at two years most. If he asks for more, we should look elsewhere. *Travis Best-Travis always seems to wind up on a winning team, but usually in the role of a good backup rather than a starter. In Atlanta, he would certainly have the chance to the No.1 option at point. I believe he would sign for the minimum since he had such a down year last season. *Junior Harrington-Lorinza "Junior" Harrington did a nice job in running the offense for the Hawks summer league team. He has good size and defensive skills, but doesn't have any type of a consistent jumpshot. Though, with Walker and Childress on the floor, we might not need a great shooter at point. He will most certainly sign for the minimum, and will play his heart out since he wants to make a name for himself in the league. Knight needs to keep the activity up. If we can land a solid starting point guard, then this team can certainly compete next season. http://www.hoopsworld.com/article_9295.shtml
  16. I actually don't like this team that much. who is going to play defense on the small quick players like Iverson and Tony Parker. While diaw may be a good defender i doubt that he can consistently guard pg's for all 82 games. Walker is a good rebounder and can play centre but i think he will be giving up 5 inches to a legit center. This team will probably be a bad defensive team and i doubt Woodson a defensive coach would put a lineup like this one. However i think it's a good offensive lineup that can play together for 10 minutes.
  17. Hey, could anyone post the insider column where chad ford is praising new york's moves.
  18. I don't think these guys can take you to the playoffs. Dampier may have an impact on the team but i doubt jon barry can give you more than 12pts and some hustle.
  19. I heard New York was going to pay vin baker 3.5 million so that leaves NY with about 1.5 million. I don't think dampier would take that money.
  20. Bobby jackson is one of the most important parts of Sacramento. he may be the reason sacramento didn't adavance past the timberwolves. I love this guy's game and there is absolutely no way they will trade this guy. Atlanta's point guard situation looks shaky and i can't think of a solution to improve it.
  21. Yo, as many people might now know, Peja has just asked for a trade. Do you think he will be traded or will he calm down. i don't see anyplace else where his game can flourish like it does in sacramento. the system really helps him but he can really help every other team. Any trade possibilities?
  22. Even though i appalaud Isiah for trying to improve his team and he has done that since coming to New York like getting Marbury and Crawford but i don't understand the moves he is making. I Know that the money in New York is limitless but why is he after every free agent. Every free agent is somehow linked to New york. i don't think isaih gets the team chemistry thing. he just wants to get every player he can whether or not he meshes with the team. He just got Crawford which isn't bad but isn't his same very similar to marbury's, both of these guys need the ball to be effective and i can sense there will be some tension there. if you look at his roster there isn't a single player that creates for his teammates or is fully wiling to be the third option except for Kurt thomas. His whole team is made up of me first players. There is a reason why they were swept last year and i can see it happening again. Marbury has never been the team player a point guard should be, look at how many teams have traded him. Tim thomas has never acheived his potential and it may be too late to do it now. Crawford had problems with the coaches in chicago. His whole bench is made up of washed up players like shandon anderson. Every player in that team gets more money than he should. The team is going nowhere with this kind of roster and they have no youth and no draft picks since they gave up them up to phoenix. i have no idea what this team is gona looke like when the season starts but i have know they will never be a top team with these kind of players. i think Isiah should think more about team chemistry than getting every player he can. I don't know how a team with so much ego can be successful. i think isaih will realize this after this years playoffs and then may look to get some role players. Your thoughts?
