  1. I don’t fully trust working on a sign-n-trade during the offseason, so I hope Billy Knight is able to trade Al before the deadline. He simply doesn’t seem happy and why should he be? Trade him, ASAP.
  2. I ended up with 128 2 round trips. It's been interesting.
  3. Yes I have Xbox live. I need to get Xbox live for my 360, but I will wait until the end of the year.
  4. Has anyone been playing this game? I have, but I need a few more, so if you can help, please do so.
  5. I personally don’t think this trade helps the T-Wolves and Boston just added a large amount of salary. Poor KG.
  6. Quote: So now, you want to trade Al for Peja and his ending Contract??? Peja actually has a player option for close to 9 million after this season. He most likely won't accept, but there is a very good chance he will.
  7. The second round pick is most likely a future selection.
  8. It’s not hard to make the talent look better on your team when Lebron has a squad that’s a lot more talented. Kobe doesn’t have guys on his team that can produce the numbers like the teammates Lebron has. The Lakers lack talent at almost every position, so it’s basically a Kobe, and Lamar Odom world out west.
  9. Quote: Let's see... Chris Bosh... Check. Charlie V.... Check. Graham... Check. Had he not picked Arajuo?? Maybe he'd still be there. Still... I wish Wayne Embry Good fortune. I kinda saw this coming miles away.. Arajuo was a horrible selection, but I started to buy into the vision Babcock had after this past draft. Overall, I don't think he's makes a good GM, so I hope to see both Babcocks out of the GM business.
  10. First off I don’t think Coach Woodson cuts it as a NBA head coach. Secondly, with any coach the players need to feel strongly about their system and give it a shot. At times I don’t think our players are fully giving Coach Woodson a chance.
  11. Quote: He is a slow white dude who is much like Edwards as far as footwork goes. I'll pass. I agree and I would pass on him also. No point.
  12. Nene's knee will take awhile to become 100%. I wouldn't throw the money at him that some teams are willing to, so I personally would stay keep my distant from him. The lineup your listing isn't one that's built for success, so I don't have alot of faith.
  13. Would depend, because he would need to tryout for the team, and BK may just feel he doesn’t fit his system. Also I don’t even think he can dunk anymore, because during the McDonalds All-American dunk contest he said himself he can’t. I don’t see him making a big impact, if he does ever step onto the court again.
  14. I think it’s fair, because the NBA does have rules, and the players need to obey by them. Davis basically went into the stands casual, so nothing big would be started, and the fans knew he wasn’t going to just punch anyone that he passed. I hope it never happens again and I hope the fan doesn’t get any money for it.
  15. Charles makes fun of many NBA teams, but normally he has a strong point, and a good reason. I don’t mind what he had to say at all, but I can only hope BK changes this team around, soon.
  16. Quote: We Need to Make a Move.... We need to make PLENTY of them.
  17. If we had a spot for Corey I would be all for adding him, but we don't, and the Clippers would never take Al straight up for him. Corey had a very good salary that ranges from 6-9 million, but we stay away from him due to not having a spot. 9-10 million a year for Al Harrington isn't fair and explain why you think it is. He doesn't defend, he's a team that lacks talent, and he's lucky he has the coaching staff behind him. Al reminds me of Lue last season when he kept putting up high numbers on offense and instantly fans started to think we should resign Lue at whatever cost. (Boy were they wrong)
  18. Al has improved his level of play and it's clear to others around the league. He still didn't improve his skills at defending, but on paper it appears like he's doing things on defense, until you actually want him during the games, and see that he's far from being a great defender. I can only hope he's willing to do a s-n-t, but I would hope we could trade him before the deadline. I really want to see what our team can do without Al having such a big role on this team, but we still need size, and BK needs to fix that problem during the off season.
  19. Quote: Oh... So Now, Al is blocking Marvin's shots and causing Smoove to shoot 33% from the field.. I thought you guys said Al doesn't play defense? Did you ever play basketball? To me you come off like your trying to act like you know how it feels to be a player and you really don't understand. If only walls could talk. Al's inside the game for most of it and has a much bigger role since we have been showcasing him for other teams around the league. (BK is an idiot for that) So, that's basically been hurting the rest of our players, and not allowing our team to unite on the court. By going to the games it's clear to me that it's a big issue with our team and they aren't coming together since Al seems to think he's Mr. Stardom. I write on realgm also and on their I have expressed my concerns with Josh Smith. Overall I think Al's only hurting him this season and his confidence. Do you really think Josh Smith feels that his coach has his back and looks out for him?
  20. Quote: It's funny, 49% said, trade Al no matter what coming into the morning. ONE word from me and all the sudden, we have 4 new Squawkers and 4 new votes another way.. My way as a Matter of fact. If that's the case with the voters I would prefer them to not even vote at all. I doubt it happened like your suggesting, but if it did the voters need to become their own vote, and not have to read to be sold on an answer. I think for the most part people vote and then decide to read what hawksquawkers have to say about the poll.
  21. Your right or teams would have pursued him stronger when he was a free agent this past off-season.
  22. I was at the game and it was very embarrassing. The crowd was mostly Piston fans and at times they were yelling "Detroitttttttttttttt.....Pistons Ball".........This was one of those games where our entire team should look at our current roster and know that we don't have many keepers. When I look at our roster I only see about 3 or 4 keepers on the team and that's still pushing it. I can understand your hard feelings and not wanting to put anymore money towards your season tickets. I hope your able to find a change of heart and still support our Hawks. BIG CHANGES ARE NEEDED, so let's hope we get our act together, and make some serious moves during the off season.
  23. Actually I don't have a magnifying glass on Al Harrington and I'm only putting down what I noticed. The rebounds were very sloppy and half came during the sloppy first quarter for both teams. He managed to score on excellent defense, but still it was shaky, and he didn't look for the pass when he was in trouble. To add to that while he was in trouble he didn't even go after the foul, so he could go to the foul line, and add problems to the Pistons players. When a team like Atlanta plays a team like the Pistons they need to try to get their opponents into foul trouble and we do a poor job of doing that. Back to Al Harrington: Believe it or not....but I'm actually a fan of his, but I don't want to see him on this team as a power forward, and if we keep him I would only want it to be as a small forward. I question Josh Smith also, because he's not being aggressive on offense, but I think Al's part of the problem there, but still Josh needs to step his level of play up. Face it Al's not a power forward.
  24. The crowd was chanting "Darkoooooo.......Darkooooo" and I don't think Flip would allowed him to enter the game if the crowd wasn't chanting that. He may of allowed him to play closer to a minute, but not 3 minutes, and I wish they would stop hurting his career. I'm also worried about Amir Johnson, because he's very young, talented, and I really like his game. We won't see him be productive for years, but I think the kid has a very bright future, and I hope the Pistons treat him well. I don't want to see what's happening to Darko happen to Amir. On a note to that Amir decided to enter the draft, because of the new age rules the NBA added.
  25. I still don't see the Raptors trading for Marbury, because they wont have to worry about Rose for much longer, and he only has one more year after the current season. Alvin Williams wants to be traded badly, but the Rapotors don't have to pick his option up after this season, and can seek a s-n-t for him. It shouldn't be hard to trade Alvin before the trade deadline, but Rose will likely have to wait to be traded until this time next year or he just walks. Noway do the Raptors take on Marbury and his 3 more years at 20 million.
