I don't have to think about this. I KNEW Bagley would struggle in the NBA. He lacked defense and perimeter ability, much like another player I'm not high on this year. I knew Ayton would struggle because he was a throwback big and not a modern big. I knew Bamba would struggle because I never bought into his perimeter shooting and questioned whether he was athletic enough to defend on the perimeter. I nailed JJJ, as I said back then that he was a potential DPOY. I'm telling you right now, Alex Sarr is a potential DPOY in the NBA.

Sarr’s switch ability and mobility helps immediately on defense. You don’t fix any defensive issues with the other choice. The draft should never be about what impact you make now.

Tyler Jones mentioned in a podcast the other day that had Sarr, Buzelis, and Holland played in college instead of overseas/ignite this year, the view on what they are as prospects would be drastically different. There would be less questions about them.

That Ignite team was so poorly coached and developed that I don't think you can make much of their stats.

I'm not saying it will be him over Sarr. I'm saying that Buzelis is in the mix.

I agree. Sarr, Buzelis, Risacher, and Holland more than likely are the 4. Buzelis and Risacher are in the same archetype of player. I think Buzelis is better off the drible than Risacher. They both have significant shooting equity. They fill that big wing floor spacer archetype.

From what I'm hearing, some might want to familiarize themselves with Matas Buzelis. His name is being mentioned by some people in the know I trust. I don't think it would be over Sarr, but if they were to move down a spot, Buzelis may be ahead of Risacher on their board.

I’ll be glad to discuss Chomche and Adem Bona, but I will no discuss Edey any further. It’s not worth the time to discuss such a useless prospect as Edey.

There is even a very strong chance that a team takes Ulrich Chomche before Edey is drafted. The league clearly does not view Edey the way the Edey fanboys do.

Draft night is going to be extremely fun. The Hawks will take Alex Sarr as they should. Kel’el Ware will go to OKC giving them a wealth of riches. Yves Missi gets into the late lottery. Probably to Portland. Edey and that dying breed of big falls to the Knicks where he can back up Hartenstein and Robinson in the slowest paced offense in the league.

Don’t fall for it. Edey is not going too 10 or top 15. If he goes top 20, I will be very surprised. No team is dumb enough to take a limited mobility big that high.

Hard to find 7-footers that move this well and are this skilled.
