  1. The guy is slower than shit and is completely unathletic.
  2. You should actually watch his run. Clunky isn't the word to describe it. It's the most unathletic looking run I think I've ever seen. Also, his agility lane drill looked like shit. He can't keep his head up and do it. I think it's because he has to be looking where he's going or else he's going to bust his ass open on the floor.
  3. Two-way contract candidate for Atlanta. Olivier Sarr, Alexandre's brother. Two-way contract candidate for Atlanta. Olivier Sarr, Alexandre's brother.
  4. Exactly! The worst thing that Trae could do is make a comment about Alex Sarr now before he's ever drafted and paint the organization into a corner. "Trae's silence" is completely overblown. There are no Hawks players in a social media conga line expressing their excitement over the #1 pick.
  5. Trae's commitment to the Hawks should never be questioned. He hasn't asked out, and he wants to win in Atlanta. However, he wants to win, and if Atlanta's direction isn't to win, then and only then will he ask to be moved to a winning team.
  6. I agree. He needs a few minor tweaks to his shooting release, but there is clear ability there. He's not bringing the ball behind his head on his jumper. It's a very smooth release. I think he's losing some consistency right at the top of his jumper, and that's something Kyle Korver can iron out very quickly at Hawks University. Look at OO. I knew OO would eventually be able to shoot from the perimeter, and he gets one offseason with Quin and this staff and makes a big jump as a perimeter shooter.
  7. Man! Give Sarr one month in the lab with Kyle Korver, and that guy is going to be a legit three point shooting big.
  8. The quick and dirty response is that they aren't going to trade Trae unless Trae asks out. Landry and these guys are not stupid, and as much as you feel Ressler is cheap as an owner, he knows Trae is a cash cow for him. Trae will only be traded if he asks out, and to some's dismay, Alex Sarr is a player that will likely want Trae to stay and not push him out.
  9. Yep. The other aspect of it is this. People have bitched that we got the top pick in a draft where no one wants the top pick, yet they say trade Trae for more picks in this same draft that no one wants to be a part of along with future picks who are 50/50 propositions at best. There are a couple of things at play here. First, there are several who simply do not like Trae and refuse to acknowledge that he's a top player in the NBA. Second, there are some who prefer the unknown and love being in the lottery year after year. That's the only reason to support such a stupid philosophy such as tanking.
  10. It's completely nonsensical. Murray is a good player, but he isn't half the player Trae is. Trae has two defenders within reach of him when he crosses the half court line. Murray does not possess that kind of offensive gravity. Trae is much better and making those around him better because of that gravity. Murray is a good player, but if he is your top player, he will put up numbers and you will win 30 games.
  11. There are no bounds to the insanity of this view.
  12. Anyone saying he has no offensive game has no idea what they are talking about. He’s not where he will be offensively in 2-3 years, but the tools are there. He will be a high level rim runner. He will be a high level pick and pop threat. He will be good at attacking the rim off the dribble. He will be good as a catch and shoot threat. He’s probably not going to be a post up guy but who gives a shit? Posting up bigs in the NBA doesn’t happen any longer.
  13. We get the #1 overall pick and have the opportunity to draft a perfect complement to Trae, and the response is “trade Trae”?
  14. It’s because of foolishness such as we should draft for immediate need or the idea that Zach Edey will be anything more than a back up. There was this idea by some that if we had stayed at 10, we would have drafted the slow Edey, and in a twilight zone moment, he’s a better fit with Trae.
  15. You have entered the Twilight Zone
