Bruno isn't anywhere near the best big defender on the team, nor is he as skilled offensively as Sarr. That's just a ridiculous comment.
Onyeka is the best defensive big on the team, by far. He's also the best offensive big on the team by far.
No. You aren’t the only one. He also isn’t rising up the draft boards because of his workout. Most of the evaluators I follow made fun of him because of how uncoordinated he looked when working out.
He doesn’t want you to know, but everything he’s saying about Alex Sarr, he also said it about this guy who is now one of the best bigs in the league and a perennial DPOY candidate.
Help us how? He instantly limits us and makes us worse defensively. He limits us offensively because he lacks perimeter skills.
He’s not even remotely close to being drafted in the lottery, much less be the #1 overall pick.
What a f***ing joke! I’ve never seen so much desire for a guy who will be drafted in the 20s and at best is a situational sub.
It will be soon. The only reason guys like him still have a job is because there aren’t enough athletic skilled bigs to completely phase them out. However, the number of athletic skilled bigs will increase in the near future.
You have a better chance of convincing me that you can make meat from plants than you do of convincing me that Edey will be anything more than a situational reserve in the NBA.
[T]he center position has changed in the NBA. We need someone to play big [i]s a statement made when you have completely lost touch with the way the NBA is played.
You have to have a big that can defend on the perimeter and shoot the basketball.
Got to love fans holding that candle that the league will somehow return to its post heavy roots from years ago where bigs don’t have to actually move.
