Not like any rookie we picked at 15 had a clear path to meaningful minutes anyways. We literally have a starter and established backup for every spot as the roster is now. Might as well take the perimeter defender who can play on/off ball.

And if we're losing DJM in a Siakam trade, are we moving Bogi to the starting 2??? Love Bogi, but there are injury concerns there. Patch one hole and create another. I'm literally only doing the Siakam deal if OG is included. And that ain't happening.

Him and OO are both 6'8" so not much size in that frontcourt. He's also a career 32% 3 point shooter and an expiring contract. And what @Hawkish said too.
