Maaaaan...we tank the whole season and actually move up a spot into the top 3... if we pick JJJ...I’m really not sure what Schlenk is doing. Again I’ll give him the benefit of the doubt having come up under Don Nelson 15 years ago. If Don Nelson was in this draft his top 3 would be: 1. Trae (he loved small ball 3’s) 2.Doncic (loved euros) 3. Bamba (loved big men aka Shawn Bradley). I believe Schlenk is having the same thought process with the exception of putting Doncic ahead of Trae due to size.

Take Doncic or Bagley at 3. Whichever is there. We we don’t have to deal Dennis if the right deal doesn’t come along though. We can still showcase him a bit and trade him in February. We hold the cards there, unless he’s disruptive to the team.

Sexiest picks are : Bagley, Doncic, Trae and Porter. People keep saying if we draft Doncic we will screw up next draft by winning too much...aaaahhhh I wouldn’t bank on that. We would be crappy either way. A note on Doncic and Trae: They make everyone around them better so there’s that if you like team ball.

Supes, why do you think the Suns aren’t even considering Doncic at #1 since his old coach is the Suns coach? I mean, if Doncic was THAT great, wouldn’t Igor convince McDonough to take Luka instead of Ayton? Or is Ayton going to have a ceiling that much higher than Luka’s. Luka/Booker/Josh Jax isn’t bad at all..they might run teams out the building with the up n down pace whereas with Ayton/Booker/JJ you’d have to slow it down to fit Ayton’s game. So just by selecting Ayton, the Suns go from a run n gun team to a half court team? ?? tough call but if Ayton doesn’t pan out, the Suns blew a big chance.

I wanna let everyone know that I’m very thankful to have a Hawks family, specially this time of the year. Growing up in Houston and Cali, I didn’t know anybody else that was a Hawks fan, so people weren’t really interested in any discussions. I had a lot of friends that were Warriors, Rockets, Seattle Supersonics (always said if I had a #2 team it’d be the Sonics with Kemp n GP..maybe that’s why I became a Hawks fan..thunderous dunks, Nique n Kemp) and of course Laker fans. General NBA was discussed but never a bunch of different voices talking Hawks shop only. I know it’s not thanksgiving but I’m still thankful for all of you. Ps Specially during draft week! No way. Disagree. If drafts were legit based on talent and not bs potential like jjj, Mikal should go top 7 imo. He still might to the Bulls. The guy plays both ends, he is a perimeter stopper and can bust 3’s on the offensive end. I’d LOVE us to grab Doncic and maybe try to get Mikal. Agreed. The more we hear we want JJJ the happier I get cuz it’s smokescreen. How many times have teams said they wanted a certain player and ended up with him? Maybe Lonzo and that’s it. It’s true!

I don’t know how it’s going to happen but I think Mikal Bridges is someone that coach Lloyd loves..unfortunate he’s gonna be picked 7-10.. wish we could grab him as well. Love that guy from the start.
