I have one fear. Kings draft Luka at #2 and we pass on Bagley and trade down to draft Trae. Not the worst by any means but not as exciting.

If we get Doncic at 3...this makes a lot of sense with Miles...it’s like Billy Knight envisioned 13 years ago lol. The highlights factory would blow up with oops from Luka to Bridges. I’m not mad at this combo at all.

Again on instincts you can’t teach them and Luka has some of the best “feel” I’ve seen from a prospect since I can’t even remember. He’s as exciting as white Chocolate was but bigger...I remember when the Kings took Jason 7th overall I was like this kid isn’t gonna make it. If he made it or not is debatable I’m sure still but one thing he brought was pizazz and a flare to the city of Sac. Doncic would do the same here.. unfortunately, Divac was a part of that era and he has a pick before us....ugh.

Maaaaan...we tank the whole season and actually move up a spot into the top 3... if we pick JJJ...I’m really not sure what Schlenk is doing. Again I’ll give him the benefit of the doubt having come up under Don Nelson 15 years ago. If Don Nelson was in this draft his top 3 would be: 1. Trae (he loved small ball 3’s) 2.Doncic (loved euros) 3. Bamba (loved big men aka Shawn Bradley). I believe Schlenk is having the same thought process with the exception of putting Doncic ahead of Trae due to size.
