  1. Or like team defense. I was kind of talking individual defenders rather than the unit as a whole.
  2. Jim McCormick -- Clint Capela, Atlanta Hawks: Onyeka Okongwu is the center of the future for the Hawks. The third-year center claims some awesome advanced metrics that often align with team success, and, both his contract and age align much better with the team's superstar backcourt. With respect to Capela's fantasy value, last season's 11.1 points and 11.9 pulls to go with 1.3 blocks in 27.6 minutes per night represents the likely ceiling for this season, one where competition from Okongwu for opportunities will increase. Which is to say, he could be just fine, but there's really no shot at being special. One of the only viable paths to resetting Atlanta's position as a tax team (ahead of a hug new commitment to Murray) is moving Capela, adding more uncertainty to an old-school center with a relatively pricey draft position.
  3. Huh? Wait last year he was 17 overall? This year 16? You are telling me there are 16 players in the league better than Trae? No way.
  4. Dallas? They don’t even have one guy that defends. Dorian Finney maybe counts as a half and Bullock the other half perhaps. They have a total of ☝ defender in my view.
  5. Again probably biased and too optimistic but a trio of Murray, Hunter and Capela on D at full health and effort… that’s kind of scary. I mean, honestly which other 3 starters on any team are that good on paper ? Celts- Brown, Smart Williams Suns- Cp3, Bridges, Crowder (most likely dealt) TBD Raptors- FVV, Barnes, OG, Siakam (4) Heat- Lowry, Butler, Bam (Lowry aging fast) Warriors- Jamal, Klay (plug in or wiggins) Clipps- Kawhi PG13 4-6 teams have 3 elite defenders in their starting lineups.. We got next. We are going to be a top 7 team on D this year if all goes well. Schlenk did it all.
  6. He was a savant in the bubble tho FYI I kinda just wanted to say savant
  7. Andrew “clubber” Lang would like to remind everyone… Literally the first and only #28 that popped In my head.. can’t think of any others… Hey, don’t need to! Club on…
  8. I honestly boycotted the finals and the conference finals but I read that is where he picked it up? Is that right? Then everyone overrating him to keep it up. Ya no sleepy ain’t doin dat. But.. good luck in the recovery youngun.
  9. Wow. If it was fair it would be 3.3 (average) players to each NBA team and we got 6! Almost doubled the average! (Apologies to the Magic, Pistons, Blazers I’m guessing) lol.
  10. Ya I recall. Same for me. I think we’ve messed up Cam and baby Reef together in the last 3 years. I still say they can ball that’s not the error in judgement but rather attitude/system. I’m sorry as fans and draft guessers that ish is hard to predict. (I realize scouts have the same issue just saying I don’t think it’s missed based on basketball skills rather the environment variable which is unpredictable or at least tough to predict).
  11. I have some excellent advise for you. Although you’ve prolly been doing this since 2000 like me but.. BOYCOTT SPORTSCENTER Ja gon’ be on nair tonit doh .. it’s like that one dude that was talkin at the bar.. How dey gon foget about Tmac like dat afta a decade- Big Stevie (shout out if you ever see this u funny bro) 2012 I mean, I get it, you have you’re Tmac’s, your Iverson’s and Ja’s.. Then you have your Isiah Thomas’s, Stevie Nash’s and Trae Young’s. Different strokes for different folks.
  12. But @kg01 there are only eighty tw…. I see what you did there.. STEWARDESSSSSSS.. the coffee ️!!!!
  13. 5th? That’s a slap in the face I’m sorry. I know the ones above him are good but no. It’s Trae’s time. It’s time to move past sCurry and Lillard. Luka ain’t even a traditional point. Neither is sCurry for that matter. I don’t like the NBA trying to get rid of the true point guard look. They already got rid of the traditional back to the basket big man and now they want a wing to act as a guard? JUST LIKE THE SPORT OF BASKETBALL, POSITIONS AINT FOR EVERYBODY ADAM SLIVER. God I hate this guy. He’s such a snake it’s not even funny. Next thing for Adam Silver: We want more made buckets so we are thinking of increasing the size of the hoop.
  14. Good for Goodwin! Love what he brought to us! I think he’s gonna get a nice shot with the Cavs… 1 year later… copy and paste (take Goodie name out and replace it don’t be lazy like that..) #cavsgethawkseconds
  15. Lower the age limit stinks btw as far as quality basketball displayed on the floor and messing up a young kid’s life too. Shame on you Silver you’ll stop at nothing.
  16. Omg I read Bogdon not Bojan and thought we gettin Crowddddd heeeeerrrrrrrr thanks for the heart volt there Burd!
  17. Ridder ready. Ya I feel that too. I felt Mariota over Winston coming out but now down on Mariota a bit too. I’d just throw Ridder in there he seems like one of those rookies that’s a plug n play to me. It’s not always about years but poise and that kid has a lil something nice in his game. Give him a shot.
  18. Oh wowwwww I gotta peep these. I’m buying more than I use nowadays though but it’s like Hawk players never had sig shoes except for Nique and the pumps really so I got the Trae 1’s in baby blue, I gotta get the 2’s.. I’ll get the 3’s 4’s and 16th Trae’s too. I love our superstar.
  19. So in the month I’m staying in Atlanta after the Hawks win the chip, this is where I’m headed? Look, I’ll club if I have to, but at this age, I’d really like to just sit down and have a nice basketball convo. #40slife #slowindown ps You know they say a nap a day is great, why not 3? I’ll outnap all y’all! That made me laugh
