I am getting a little tired of hearing this player or that player isn't a star or he won't be a all star in two years. WTF does all of that talk mean. How many people got on the all str team because they were popular with the fans. Out in the west three of the five starters were not even on playoff teams. You guys put too much on this so called star quality. You can never forget we got a young team and that these guys are coming up together. Just because someone isn't a star or all star that doesn't mean that they can't be a good player. What is the chance that JJ, AL, JC, JS, ZP, SS, and MW all make the allstar team at the same time. Of that group I think that JJ and ZP may the first ones to make and even for JJ it would be hard because of the players in the EAST who seemingly make it every year just because. I mean players like Iverson, SHaq, etc. You know that Lebron and Wade got there spots locked down for probably the next 10 years or so don't expect out guys to get on the team even if they are deserving of it. If ZAZA continues to improve and SHAQ won't be around forever he will by default be in the top 3 centers in the east. I would rather have a damn good team thatn a team with some allstars who have gotten out of the 1st round of the playoffs or hasn't even made the playoffs all together.

Okay I just got a Xbox 360 and I bought NBA 2K6. I always play with the Hawks on the game. I pick the Hawks and check out the roster while I am playing online and they have some other guys for the pictures of Estaban and John Williams!! This is horrible. I mean did they figure that no one would pick the Hawks so they could just pick any two stiffs and tell us that they are Estaban and John. Usually when they don't have pics they use shadows. Damn.

I mean everydat there is a new trade rumor about the Knicks going after somebody. I tell you this though I get the feeling that Frye can be had for the right price. DO you think that we could get him for AL and a spare part?? I mean as desperate as they are getting it is kind of like they don't care about the future they want to win know and they want veterans. I wonder what AL and Delk will get for us.

I am sick and tired of seeing ex-hawks got to other teams and play well when we knew all along they cold have done the same here. When and if we get rid of AL who's next JJ? Every year for the past few seasons we have traded arguably our best or second best player (Mutumbo, Reef, JT, Jackson, Wallace, Walker, etc) and we have gotten progessively worst. These moves and hiring just don't make any sense. They fired Stotts just for the sake of firing him. He had the JT/SUra squad respectable in the end.I kind of understand the idea of having interchangeable players in theory but in actuality it can't work or maybe it can if we had the right coach. So many questions and concerns but no one will give us the decency to even let us in on exactly what the hell we are doing. The more draft picks we get the longer the rebuilding process is going to last. Even if we do get a good pick, BK will draft another forward.

Even though we are the worst team in the league (arguably) we are not involved in any of the trade rumors I read about involving teams that are already better than us I know that BK likes to play it close to the vest but it is about time that they let us know for sure that they are trying to improve the product. I mean I would not as a fan have had a problem with Artest for Al. I really don't know how much more of this I can stomach before I just give up all together. I mean we are actually celebrating the fact that we have won more that 13 games this season. I watch the games on television but I will not spend one dime of my money on a ticket until we start making some real progress. I see all the other young teams make good trades and draft good players, and get effective coaches but not Atlanta. We seem to always get the players and coaches that are second guessed as soon as we get them. What was the point of trading Stephen Jackson for Al if you are either going to trade AL or let him Walker. We should have kept JT. If you knew that you didn't want AL why did you trade Antoine Walker? Why draft Marvin if you know you can't give him decent playing time and when it is quite obvious he is already the second or third best player on this team.

That may work because the way Smoove has been playing I think that either Marvin or Chillz needs to get the start over him.

Now that Chillz has found his rhythm again is it time to retry the original lineup of starting JJ at point and chillz at the two. I think that we may have paniced a liitle premature and pulled plug before we had the chance to see what the lineup could do. Now it appears that Joe is comfortable and I have noticed that Chillz is bringing the ball up the court more often. What do we have to lose out chemistry has come a long way since November. I am starting to realize what BK wanted to accomplish with having players who can play multiple positions. JJ-Ivey-Salim-Delk CHillz-JJ-Salim-Delk Al-Marvin Chillz-JJ Smoove-AL-Batista- ZAZA-Batista-Edwards

All of the guys who we wanted to sign and all of the guys you guys thought we should have signed are doing piss poor right now. Just in case you guys forgot here is the list of "we need these guys on our team" players: 1.Eddy Curry-still fat, still can't rebound, defend, or block. 7'0 shooting guard 2. Samuel Dalembert--Still can't score, still can't rebound but now he is paid way more for stuff he can't do. 3. Stromile Swift--still weak, still can't rebound, still is a sixth man off of the bench-type player--but he is making alot more money. How much is a block shot worth?? 4.Eric Dampier--still can't defend, still can't rebound, still is soft. 5. Jamal Magloire--still overated wants to get paid for being an all star by default 3 seasons ago. 6.Steven Hunter--still soft, still sucks, still can't start in the league. Can't even get traded to a weaker team because of his injuries. 7. Kenyon Martin--he should split his max contract with Jason Kidd because he sure as hell helped him earn it. His body is already breaking down. I said it once and I'll say it again..THE BUMS SOME OF YOU GUYS WANT WEARING A HAWKS UNIFORM IS RIDICULOUS!!! Zaza is playing better than all of those guys and is making a tenth of what they are getting.Signing any of the guys above would have killed us in the long run. This list is probably shorter that it really is!

I just read on Real GM that the wolves are open to trading him. He is a big pg you think that maybe BK will try to make a move for him? I am not sure about his salary.

Marvin looked good tonight with extended minutes.

I am starting to think that as bad as we got, New York is in much worse shape than us. I know that they got Frye and Curry (neither one can rebound worth a damn)and Larry Brown but geez fellas that organization is making our logjam at forward look like heaven right about now.

It is becoming quite obvious that AL is going to be out of here and that he is playing the company man and keeping his intentions quite. He know that he can get more if he leaves us via a sign and trade. Now if he says that he is leaving and BK lets it be known that we won't try to resign him then he would be at the mercy of the market. I know everyone wants to trade him, but I am not clear who out there is on the block that we can obtain that fills a need for us. We got the youngest team in the league and I for one don't want draft picks with potential. If we get draft picks when will the rebuilding end?

how young ZAZA is. I mean we all talk about Josh and Marvin but I have noticed ZAZA is developing a nice offensive game as well. With enough shots he can be a 15-20 ppg and 8-10 rpg type of player which is pretty solid. I mean dude is only what 21 years old and has been in the league for three years. He is still young and his numbers are pretty good considered he hasn't started before this year and was just warming the bench. Let's not forget about ZAZA in all this talk about potential. He looks old as hell though....

I am confused. AL is not capable of guarding Nash but everytime he did he scored. If you are going to put a bigger man on him it should have been CHillz!!!

That is my point. Ivey played well too but when his time was up too was out of there. WE NEED TO STAY WITH THE HOT PLAYER!!!

Damn Woodson should have left MArvin in the game as he was our best rebounder tonight. He has got to learn to stay with the hot hand and forget about his messed up rotations. Its like no matter how good Marvin is playing once his time is up he is out of there.
