    Parsons is a cool dude..

I appreciate the responses.  Glad to hear he is healthy.  Would be cool if he ended up here.

It's like the Falcons fans saying that they would rather roll with Ridder than take a shot at Lamar Jackson.

I was on board with most of your points on this thread but I cannot get on board with this.  Trading that much draft capital and tying up that much money in an oft injured player is not the best use of resources IMO.

I think Ridder will be a pleasant surprise as will the team as a whole next season.

That's been my impression. And I think the rationale for that is probably solid.... but, then again, some of us remember that not only were Braves games broadcast widely over WTBS, so were the Hawks'. So how did the Hawks fail to benefit, one wonders.

I would say the reason they failed to benefit was directly related to them not being consistent winners.  Everyone loves a winner. The Braves have played to win for a long time.  The Hawks have played to entertain (at best) or to just have the owners make money.

I don't live there, of course, but travel through on occasion.

Would it be accurate to say that the Falcons and Braves have the same situation?

I would agree that the Falcons are the same.

The Braves are different.  So many across the southeast (and US overall) became Braves fans during the TBS Superstation days.  The Braves have also been consistent winners for almost 35 years now.  Braves fans are diehards.

It could be theme related … this is an older but great looking theme that Dolfan created  but it may not get along with things that have been updated by invision.

Has Dolfan completely sold the site and is not here?  Or is he just taking a break?

When has Schultz ever added anything valuable or broke news? I hate seeing his fodder.

The worst part is he is about the only Atlanta writer left for the Athletic.  If I was not still getting it for $1/mo I would cancelling.  The content has been poor since they were bought out.

I drove three hours to watch the home games of that series. Didn't regret the drive or the $$$ for the lower level seats one bit. The crowd was insane. The fans were still hyped after the games as they spilled out into the streets of ATL. I still have a soft spot for that Hawks team.

I got to go to game 6.  It was amazing!

The only game I have been to that was louder was the NFC championship game when the falcons beat the packers to go to the Super Bowl.

It makes sense. Especially if Atlanta feels Trae wants out. Send him to join his boy Ben Simmons. Give them JC as that's one of the teams for JC. Gives us a 3-4 year championship window. We can see if Hunter can make the jump with the touches bump as well as Griffin.

While the age gap is my big reservation. I can't lie. We would be close. On top of that, a Matisse Tybuyelle trade would probably put us over. Give us a ten man rotation.

I can’t believe I am saying this but I think I might do this trade.
