I can’t seem to get it to for some reason. Just pastes the link but not the actual gif. I am probably doing something wrong just not sure what.

There are some natural questions that this list brings up..
1. Hakeem vs. Duncan?
2. Bird vs. Curry?
3. Stockton vs. Kidd?
4. Isaiah vs. CP3?
And Most importantly for Hawks fans...
5. Nique vs. Kawhi vs. Barkley?
Yeah I'm shaking the tree @shakes. The overrated Nique vs. an admittedly overrated Barkley vs. The King of Team Kawhi.
First Kawhi. Best team guy ever. Great defender. Good scorer. But... can he lead? I've never got Lead dog vibes from Kawhi. Always a guy who needs to be similar to Pippen or even Horace Grant. 2nd or 3rd best player on the squad. He won't make mistakes but at the same time he won't lead you to the promised land. He's the Master of Load Management. He's the master of I'm not playing for you anymore; trade me. In comparison to Nique who went out every night with a team on his back and gave what he had... I can't say that I'm reaching for Kawhi if I'm starting a team. He's a good complimentary player but He's not a leader.
Barkley. Great player. Is he better than Nique? Is he 18 places better than Nique?
While I'm on my Kawhi soapbox.... Why is Kawhi listed above Jokic?
Hakeem vs. Duncan. I got Hakeem. Defense and Offense and putting the team on his back. Both were very fundamental. But Hakeem won in the Jordan era.
Stockton vs. Kidd. Hmm.
Most people don't like CP3, but I respect his resume.
Bird vs. Curry... Taking nothing away for Larry Legend, the Curry disrespect is egregious . Curry changed Basketball. Whereas Bird and Magic were great caretakers of Basketball, Curry took the remnants of the Jordan era and made the Curry Era.
While I'm on my Kawhi soapbox.... Why is Kawhi listed above Jokic?
this comment is spot on D. Jokic May end up top 5 all time if he keeps this up. He is doing things no one else does like Wilt did.

Trae Young airs belief with Dejounte Murray to become NBA’s best backcourt combo
It’s this belief that gives me hope. We have players who actually want to win here instead of ring chase hoping the grass is greener somewhere else.

On Arenas' podcast, "Gil's Arena," Young claimed he would get respect once he brings title success to the Hawks.
Arenas had doubts about the two-time All-Star winning in Atlanta.
Ouch! Sad that it's about how willing the teams owner is willing to spend.
Arenas is crazy but this is the absolute truth. It is pay to play Tony. I hope you are willing to pay for a winner.

I just struggle to figure out what Ja does to earn these accolades. He plays the same position as Trae. He has scored fewer points and been less efficient for his career. He can't playmake like Trae and is nowhere near a leader. He misses 25-30% of every season. His team has won 2 games outside the first round of the playoffs. His teams have won a higher % of games without him than with him (I don't think this speaks to his individual play as much as it does to him being underserving of extra credit for regular season wins by his team).
But there he is as a top 20 or so player above Trae on every list.
On this list, having Jokic as the #4 player is kind of a joke given that he should be coming off his third consecutive MVP and his first championship.
This. The whole list is moot after that.

Given the amount of big time games he has disappeared in and the amount of times he has wanted to flee a team because the wind has shifted is concerning. He really needs some perspective because if he's going to demand certain things then he needs to show he is capable of sucking up the hard times too and he hasn't shown that.
I hope Philly continues to play hard ball and make him stay. Keep him on the "no fly" list. He needs it if he is going to grow at all as a player from a mental standpoint. Or he'll just throw an adult tantrum, we shall see.
Another reason that we should be grateful for Trae Young.

Do you consider a "whites only" competition to be a true world championship for a sport? This is where I'm pushing back. Different definitions can be legit because this isn't an officially defined term. (See my examples of various definitions and how differently they would treat the NBA champion and the Jewish Masters Ice Hockey champion.)
I think shakes view is fully legit meaning that it is a reasonable definition. But I think that someone whose definition means that "old man Jews only" or "whites only" isn't enough of an open pool to be a true world championship is also reasonable to me. As I pointed out, this "old man Jews only" definition (for the hockey championship discussed) excludes 100% or near 100% of people from many countries (see China and Montenegro as examples). Is someone who thinks that the pool needs to be deep enough that every country can meaningfully compete 100% wrong as shakes says? I think there is room for reasonable differences of opinion on what defines a "world championship."
I was responding with that being Shakes is in his high horse. Obviously that did not come through well. I am on the side that Shakes is not debating in good faith and feels his opinion is in fact “facts”. That annoyed me and led to the high horse comment.
PS- I think the NBA champs are the world champions as it is the best players in the world.

Don't need disprove or dispute your "what if" hypothetical argument. I work with facts, not hypothetical theories. No non-NBA team is eligible to compete for the NBA title, hence by the same logic that determines that water is wet the NBA can not claim to crown a world champ.
my definition IS the only correct one. Just like there is only one answer to 1+1. It's really that simple.
No, you can not claim to be world champ for being the best hispanic 32 year old teacher from Chippowa county. That is not a world competition. It is not open to the world. It is only open to hispanics from Chppoway county. If there is a bigger competition to determine the best 32year old or 30+ year old Hispanic teacher and you qualify for that competition by winning the Chippoway regional and then you go on to win the next level and so on until you eventually beat all the 30+ hispanic teachers in the world then yes, you will be able to claim that you are the world champ in that category.
No they can not. This is where you are dead wrong. And honestly, your view is insulting to anyone who actually won a world championship. That's why the USA sprinter opened his mouth in the first place, as a TRUE world champ he was offended that others are claiming the monikor without truly earning it.
1980 Olympics are not world champs. They are Olympic champs. They can't even claim to be the world champs of amateur hockey because the tournament was flawed in that there were several pros playing for USSR. In fact, their entire team was professional. Once the Olympics went to a best on best format they were able to claim world champ status.
