Wow..I was just driving home and listening to NY Sports Radio and they were talking about Curry and Collier and the way they were talking I thought we traded JC to NY then come home to find this out? Scary...my thoughts & prayers are with his family.

Very cool to see an owner take time out of his schedule to talk to the fans. Although I live in Connecticut & cannot attend the game, I bought 4 tickets which are being sent to my cousin who lives in Atlanta & works with under-privileged children so she can take 3 of the kids to a game. Thanks again!

The way I became a Hawks fan was b/c my cousin was a cheerleader for them in the early to mid 80's and I thought I was cool b/c of that and the rest was history lol. Not too many of us in New England.

Per Hoopshype it says that rumors began to circulate that Boston is looking to deal him. There is also mentioning of Boston doing a 3 team deal so they can get rid of Walker with Atlanta, Charlotte & N.O. being a partner since we have cap space w/ Walker going to a contender. Has a unique NBA ready body that is both strong and sturdy ... Can seemingly drive to the lane at will thanks to his great hesitation crossover move that gives him good separation from his defender ... Once in the lane he has the uncanny ability to hang in the air and wait for the defense to commit before making his move ... Excellent rebounder for his size ... After he gets the ball he really looks to initiate the fast break ... Once he penetrates into the lane he is a hard player to stop as he is able to rely on his biggest asset which is the drive and dish ... Still learning how to make players around him better but to his credit he is steadily improving in this aspect of the game ...

Does anyone play this? I cannot wait to play this game. I have it reserved at my local gamestop and they open at 10am tomorrow so I am gonna swing by on my way to work to pick it up. I have to work from 11am-8pm tomorrow so I wont even be able to check it out until late which is gonna suck but atleast its out!

Thanks for posting that. Its a debatable list but the task at hand is not an easy one. Two names the immediately popped out to me were Gibson ( who I admit, I know nothing about ) and Clemens. I really wasn't expecting to see the Rocket on there.

I am so sick of seeing posts that have us dealing Childress. Why do some of you want to get rid of him??? Especially for Marbury?!? I wouldn't deal Childress straight up for Marbury & Sweetney.

Who do you want? I myself have been going back & forth between a PG & Marvin. I'll go on the record saying take Marvin at 2. If a trade offer wows us and allows us to get Deron/Paul + another pick then go for that.

NBA Draft Special on ESPNEWS Tonight @ 10pm

Living in CT I only get to watch the Hawks when they play NYK/NJ/Boston and they are never nationally televised but could our pick change that? Now correct me if I am wrong ( which happens quite often ) but doesn't the NBA make up their TV schedule before the season starts and if so, do you think that with Marvin we might get a couple games nationally televised? Now I can see that with Marvin but I don't see it with Deron or Paul. Once again I could be wrong but I would be interested in seeing what you guys would think.

I just woke up to get ready for work and the Mike & Mike show is on ESPNEWS and they're doing a Live Mock. Andy Katz on the phone has #1 and had the Bucks taking Bogut. Doug Gottleib has #2 and went on to say the Hawks should take Chris Paul. He said they need a PG to go w/ Smooth & Chill but then went on to say that they should trade the pick.

lol I hear you. I get the Sunday Ticket to but last yr on 2 seperate occassions I had to take my fiance somewhere and b/c of that I missed the games. Hopefully that will not happen again but if it does then I will be prepared.

Cool, that will definately help. The sports packages w/ Sirius are the same, can't listen to them on the net yet either. I debated for a couple weeks whether to get XM or Sirius but I gave in to Sirius b/c of the NFL.

I just bought it yesterday and see that there are some NBA stations. Are there actual NBA games on it and has anyone caught the Hawks? Living in CT makes it hard for me to watch them. Thanks!
