The upcoming lockout will further damage the leagues image. And there will be a lockout during the summer but games will start as scheduled in November.

Thanks for the update Jay. As I reported yesterday, Chris is out for the remainder of the season. He knew when he came down that his knee wasn't there and something was seriously wrong. His MRI was scheduled for 2:30 and he found out immediately that he would not be able to play this season. Last night Chris was saying that in spite of this latest setback he was not ready to quit and would come back. If not with the Hawks, he hopes to sign somewhere else.

Chris Crawford's MRI showed a torn ACL and miniscus. You med guys know what I mean. Or as Chris put it, it's F... up! The surgery will be in VanCouver. And rehab should be about 6 months. He's not quitting and hoping to be back next summer.

Saddi Washington played college ball at Western Michigan University. If I remember right, he's a fairly decent player but I don't remember details.

Look for Hendu to either retire or have his contract bought out. He still has back issues and will not play this year.

Ok, so you're saying thatif CC played on a really good team he couldn't put up decent numbers? He averaged 19 ppg as a starter and that was against some of the better teams. Do you really believe Harrington can do this? CC has never had the chance partly because of his injuries to show us his best but when he's healthy we can't do much better for the money. We could resign him for what he's making now which would be a bargain. Harrignton hasn't shown anything that CC can't do. If we are going after talent sign someone better than what we have. CC is a bargain and we should keep him for the same amount of money. Let's not eat up cap space to get mediocre talent. To say Harrington is better is SO WRONG.

Sura is a turnover machine. He makes bad shot choices and for all the good he does he blows it with stupid plays. He can't find the open man most of the time and passes to a select few players. He reminds me of my daughter's team when she played at the 4th grade level by passing to only players they liked. Let some other team have Sura, we don't need him!

I think Stotts doesn't feel he will help the team. When Hendu was activated either someone would be released or someone had to go on the IR. Hawks management cannot force a healthy player to go on the IR and Dickau refused. My point is Dan was asked to go on the IR. I think they simply don't want to play him.

Hendu was in Indiana with his sick mother but is back with the team. He will be out indefinately due to a back sprain. The Hawks don't want to put either Hundu or Hanson on the IR because by signing anyone else will most likely put them over the salary cap. The Hawks are going to try to go with what they have.

I hear that Stotts told CC that he would get a lot of playing time this year. I don't know if that means he will start but if healthy he can definately make an impact on the team.

We're praying. And we will keep on praying. Be strong for your sister but it's ok to show emotion. In fact. you should. It will help her to understand that you are hurting too and you need to be there for each other. Hug her, hold her and listen. She needs that probably more than anything. It's all in God's hands and don't feel guilty for what you can't control. Stay strong. You have a lot of friends praying for you and your family. Let us know what we can do to help.
