Dion is just too inconsistent. He played well last summer and was signed for the season. Management regretted it almost immediately.

I got this information from a reliable source last fall. I asked the same source late in the season (April) and was told the same. I went to a wedding last night and my source was there and the answer was still the same. I was surprised by the same adament response for a year but I do believe it. You guys can believe me or not, but I'm sure I will prove to be right.

The Hawks are not going to sign Dion. So forget about him. I don't know much about their future but this much I do know. I told you guys this a year ago and I'm telling you now. Look for someone different thru trades or whatever, but Dion will not be on the Hawks roster at the beginning of the season.

Chris had surgery yesterday in Vancouver

Crawford makes 2.5 million a year. The NBA average salery per year is 3 million. How can this be restricting, cc hurts himself because hes trying to do way to much for his own good. This is not true for many other players. He has the heart and the passion which i don't think I can talk about the rest of the team the same way. Most do not have the heart or the passion that makes a big difference. BHD, CC is furthermore not a sissyballer because he wants to play its the staff thats not letting him play don't blame that fact on crawford, you shoud now whats goin on before you make comments like that.

This "sissyballer" is going to try to play through the knee problem. He will be off the IR after 2 more games and will try to play. The MRI didn't show bone chips but CC will be checked out by additional doctors. BHD doesn't hate CC, he just wants to start a lively debate here and he knows this will do it.

Glover will not be resigned. Email is at the end of his cotract will not be in a Hawks uniform next year either. Newble and Ham have a lot to prove if they want to stay nd I don't think that will happen. DD, CC and Nazr will probably be here. Partialy because no one will take them but I don't think this is all bad. They all want to play and have the desire lacking in our so called superstars.

Do you really believe that anyone would want to go through 2 surgeries, a year of rehab and possibly a 3rd surgery just to sit on the bench and not ever play? Do you think going on all the road trips watching your team struggle (I'm being nice here) is really fun? CC played with a separated shoulder. He played with extreme pain after he was undercut by Charles Oakley and literally split the skin off his back. He played most of a season with bone spurs in his foot. He's tried to play through the knee pain. Even Babcock said he desperately wanted to play. Show me one other player on the Hawks roster that would be this determined. There are 2 players on the Hawks roster that have a college degree. CC is one of them. He may not make millions but he won't be hurting for money. We all know you hate Chris. I don't know if it's because he's white or if it's because he's everything you aren't and wish you could be. Yeah, I'm a Chris Crawford fan. NOt because of his talent, but because he's a good fundamental player. Cc is not a vocal player but we need him healthy to help revitalize our second unit. If the rest of our team had his determination we wouldn't be where we are today. Like I said, we all know you hate CC and You Are Stupid!!

Dion is doing well at both ends now. Now meaning the last 6 games. His lack of consistancy got him benched earlier, but this is his opportunity to show he can continue produce game after game. Spree will never be a Hawk as long as Babcock is GM. By the way, I do watch the games and have missed only when they weren't on TV or I wasn't in Atlanta.

So Dion started the last 6 games and the Hawks won 5 of them. CC was activated 6 games ago and it could be said that the Hawks are 5-1 since he was activated, but he hasn't played even one minute. My point is that stats don't tell the whole story. Dion will not be on the Hawks roster next season unless he shows he can consistently produce from both ends and he can't do that. And he won't be here next year.

CC is expected back soon. He started practicing with the team this week. Fake a torn ACL? Tell me how you do that. By the way, did anyone notice after the Wizards game last month that MJ, who normally is one of the first players into the locker room, took time to walk past the rest of the team to talk with CC?

This kind of crap belongs in personal emails between you guys. I like reading the posts usually at work and the pictures are so not cool. Besides it's not all males on this site and a feel that the pics show that your thoughts come from your [censored], in your case, your brain, not a muture adult out of puberty.

For players like big dog, there should be stats like hockey, in the points made and the points given up, this way his stats would look the way they should

as much as kruger plays his starters they are bound to get hurt sooner of later. Last game he only went 9 deep into the bench. So in reallity he might start sooner than you think either because a starter gets hurt of because they just get worn out.

none of that is going to matter when you are 28th in the league in turnovers. Just to let you know

In the past years after a game several posts were made. Many opinions were offered. Players/plays were critiqued; heated discusions; debates; what went wrong; what was right; coaching changes; player changes. I don't post here much but I read most of it. It seems to me that the team lacks heart. So do the fans including Hawksquawk. Where is everybody? Does anybody really care anymore? If the Hawks have lost the heart of the fans here than they have lost their true fan base. They may as well be sold and move to a city that will welcome and support them. Wake up Atlanta!

I watched him a lot in college. He had no hands then. I hope he does now.

Just curious. Where did you see the official announcement? From what I hear he's progessing slowly but it will be a few weeks before he is ready to play. As it stands, he would not play in the first 5 games so the IR is no big deal. Is Nazr's foot that much better or is this a choice of he's furthest ready from playing?

I talked with Chris' wife about 10 days ago and she said he was starting to run and do drillls. There was no pain. They checked for fluid (and whatever else they do) and found nothing abnormal. Last I knew Chris was working out but feeling like he needed time to get 100 percent. If you know anything about Chris, you know that Kruger and company need to get him there slowly because Chris knows nothing but 100 percent effort. I'll see if I can talk with his family this week to get an update.

The plan was that CC would run drills, test his knee, and start playing limited minutes if all is OK. They didn't want to him to play in preseason games because he needed time and they really don't mean a whole lot.
