  1. Teague and Lou are dynamic. We are satisfied at the point. But look, the LA experiment is not going well. LA ain't gellin and Dwight will not sign an extension during the season.I say offer Dwight the max, Josh not quite max and go after Toney Allen and Chandler Parsons. Oh, Zaza and DeShawn are keepers. Korver too if the price is right.

  2. I was disappointed with the attendence. No rebounds from Al, No Ivan. Teague was out of control most of the second half and ALL of the 4th quarter. Lou is heads and shoulders better than Teague.Harris needs to get in shape to keep JT on the bench in the 4th quarter. DeShawn showed himself well. Where was Ivan? Where was Morrow? Korver brought Nothing, I say Nothing! Al plays p*ssy whipped, Josh mind is bad. Zaza is a keeper and we need to extend him. Zaza is a spark. Where is Ivan?I got three pluses:LouDeShawnZazaIt will be a Looooong season.Harris gets a first half plus.

  3. I would only give significant minutes to Jenkins and Teague. Jenkins is more special than Korver and Morrow, much younger, better ball handling, shots with higher percentage, and I strongly disagree that he do not have defense or cannot create his own shot, I think he is better at that than both Korver and Morrow although I agree he lacks size but is a good prospect at SG on a strong draft class, I would definately give him minutes to develop. About the other young guys I am not saying to give them significant minutes and I don't have any hopes for them to become superstars but I would rather play Hassan Whiteside, Damion James or Mike Scott 12 mpg than Johan Petro or DeShawn Stevenson as they are not going to give us any wins or quality minutes, I would even play Mike Scott ahead of Ivan Johnson due to skills and potential although this is tough as Ivan provides energy and toughness for the team.

You want the Hawks to be the "Bobcats".
  4. I hope that we have really something going on because I just don't understand to hold on to veteran players playing for a contract and not developing young players to build something for next year. Anyone thinking we have a shot to winning this year is fool, so explain me the difference, we did not wanted to keep the team to reach the playoffs everyyear and go out on 2nd round but we prefer to give the minutes to some veterans that would not make us better on the future to achieve the playoffs and go out on the first round, I just don't get it. I would give 25-30 min to Jenkins, he is a really a special shooter and try to develop Teague, Scott, D. James and a young big like Whiteside, Alabi or Orton, that's the way try to build something. I would say that every team on the league has a young big to develop except us.

Jenkins is no more special a shooter than Anthony Morrow or Korver. Jenkins is very wet behind the ear comparing to Morrow and Korver. He does not have NBA defense, heck he didnt have D1 defense. Jenkins cannot get his own shoot (catch and shoot) and requires help to get it off. His time will come, but 25-30 minutes? wow. He will be good to get 6.

  5. Let's see. Win a few less games to see if young players could possibly outperform their worth in the future ..... Or play mediocre veteran players in which you know exactly what you're getting, includingno development from them. That's a no brainer. I'd much rather watch a 37 win Hawks team with Jenkins, Ivan, Benson, James, and Scott trying to develop their games ..... Instead of watching a 42 win team consisting of Tolliver, Stevenson, Petro, and Morrow trying to just hang onto any team that will pay them to simply fill a roster spot. The Hawks have no shot at developing raw young talent, if washed up or almost washed up players take minutes from them. It's a reason almost none of the vet minimum guys we acquire every year, aren't re-signed.

I hope you got some cheese with all that whine. Jenkins has a ways to go and with guys playing for new contracts, Jenkins really will not see the court. Get over that. Morrow, Korver and Toliver gives light out shooting as well as veteran acumen. Scott is the surprise and will see some time on the court. This is a fresh bunch of prize fighters. This aint for developing it is for taking names as long as we can. There are guys in the roster that DO have something to prove and will play with a chip on their shoulders. I'm excited. I believe they asked James to "not go far away" for a month and continue the rehab. Damon James will be in the league this year. This group is not about the future, this is about bang for the buck, everyone get a contract for next year (on some team), hang loose and win as many games, take names and hearts as we go.
  6. When the Clips come to town, J D should host a reception at Tyler Perry's studio With a Limo at the airport waiting for Chris Paul. When the Lakers come Dwight should get a standing ovation when introduced. At the beginning of the second half we chant "come back home, Come Back Home" in unison. It will not matter if anyone is offended, It matters that they know we want them here.

  7. This would be a nice example of option #1 Zaza / Harris / Hou first for Perkins Get Harden Perkins Horf Smoove Harden Teague Bench: Lou W / JJ / Scott / Ivan / Korver or Morrow / Draft PG and a couple of min contract for depth and balance

What does Perkins bring that Zaza doesn't? Zaza compliments well with half the price. Sacrificing a 1 to boot? We can sign and trade harris away or just renounce and sign Harden straight up. Are you kidding? We trade for Perkins, OKC signs Harden.
  8. This is His team NOW.Well I guess I'm truly the optimist here. I believe come summer guys will look here first and second. I see Josh as the Largest advocate/ambassador in luring the superstar. Josh is no dummy. It is his team, his year to dispell all of the naysayers. I believe he will respond. With these perimeter goods and guards moving at the speed of light, Josh should be in backdoor/allyoop/pick and roll heaven. He averaged 18.8 without having the setups he has now. He may average 25. A reason why it is possible is Josh hungry, motivated, talented and a freaking speciman. He can play 40 minutes in any and every game. He knows he will get a max deal, I think he wants more.
