Is it just me or has anyone else noticed some of the silly ideas being kicked around? Trade JT? Trade Theo? What the....I know we all are ready to win but we need to remember that this YOUNG team that spent most of last year 1. trying to get to know each other and 2. batteling injuries. So, what am I trying to say...BE PATIENT!! Instead of trying to make that one killer trade we should try and find good role players to go a long with JT, Shareef, and Theo. Think about it, every player on the Lakers team for example isn't on the same level as Shaq and Kobe or take the old Bulls teams, they had Jordan, Pippen, and a bunch of good guys who knew there role. I'm not trying to knock anyones opinions on what direction the team should take but let's all start thinking logically.

Ira Newble is a example of a good role player....

Henderson is a terrible example of one.I think guys

like Henderson could be a good role player IF he

wanted to be.The problem is Henderson thinks he

is a better player than he is and Chris Crawford tries

with all the heart, but he just doesn't have the

talent...He got hurt trying to play past his abilities.

The only one I am worried about is Theo and if he can

stay healthy.If that and combine with a 15PPG season

from DJ and Dan Dickau being solid I think we might could

make the playoffs.However,I am unwilling to get my hopes

up like I did last year.I know it wasn't the players fault

that got injuried,but I set myself of for disapointment

by believing hype and looking at the paper.

But trading JT/Reef are bad Idea and I would only do it

for some cases.

I have been saying the same thing in all my post,Everyone is Over reacting. However, We do desperately need to move Hendu/Kukoc/CC. And Theo must go eventually, but not until next offseason. JT trade talk is nonsense. And to all the Dan Dickau groupies. GET REAL.

I just think people should be alittle more carefull about

getting their hopes up.This year I think tells the picture

There is alot to prove,but we need a Identity.Sure they

had a winning record for the second half,but they didn't

do so well the last 10 games.

This season tells alot.i ever remember hearing Bob Rathburn

talking about how next year this team needs to start winning

before they lose even their most loyal fans.

The money back thing is more than just money....It's about

making a promise AND KEEPING IT.There is more on the line

than a half million here.If the Hawks fail to make the playoffs

they loose even more credibility around the league.

Besides getting some good role players what the Hawks need to do is be consistent. We can't win if we're changing the lineup every other game. It's time for Kruger to put DJ in and just let hime play. Of course he's not going to be great every night because he's still young....you have to give the guy a chance to mature as a player and that's only going to come with playing time. If Kruger wants DJ to be a starter then start him for Christ sake!! The same goes for JT..he can't keep flip flopping from pg to sg...the guys a pg so make him play pg once and for all.
