Feel the power.

We started with Part 1 yesterday, now Part 2:

Let's start with the Atlanta man himself, John Hollinger, who unveiled his Power rankings today:

Not a bad place to be, consider the "easy" schedule the Hawks have had and the two losses in consecutive days.

Now, over to AOL Fanhouse, where the Hawks also reside in the Top 10:

8.
Hawks
(6-2) | Prev.: --

The schedule was kind to the Hawks early, and they used it to their advantage by jumping out to a 6-0 start to the season. But the
Suns
put an end to that streak on Sunday, and once the Hawks finally faced a team with a winning record for the first time all year on Monday in Orlando, they began a streak in the opposite direction by dropping their second straight.

The guys over at The No Look Pass ranked the Hawks ahead of the Heat:

3. ATLANTA HAWKS (6-2) (LW: 3-2)
: After winning their first six games, they're on a two-game losing streak. Meanwhile,

Josh Smith

has already attempted more treys in eight games this year (
10
) than all of last year (
7
).

(PREDICTED ORDER OF FINISH: 4)

Finally, the SBNation launched its rankings for Week 2, and surely we'll be treated kindly there, right?

4.
Atlanta Hawks
: Record - 6-1

Last Week's Ranking: 4, SB Nation Blog:
Peachtree Hoops

Atlanta suffered their first loss over the weekend to Phoenix, but despite the gaudy record, I'm not impressed. Their six wins have come against Memphis, Washington, Philadelphia, Detroit, Cleveland and Minnesota. That's not exactly a murderers row of opponents. Three of those wins were by single digits. The Hawks are incorporating a new offense, so maybe they'll peak later, but this great start feels like smoke and mirrors.

Well, almost.
