Peachtree Hoops: D-League Showcase Begins Today, Pape Sy And The Utah Flash on NBA TV

The Annual NBA D-League Showcase begins today at South Padre Island, Texas. Over the next four days each of the NBA D-League's sixteen teams will play twice with ten of those games being broadcast on NBATV. Both of the Utah Flash's games will be televised so it is an opportunity for Hawks fans to get a look at Pape Sy.

Hoopinion has an excellent breakdown of Pape Sy's D-League stats thus far. Sy's role has expanded some with the Flash due to the injury to their regular point guard Kevin Krueger. For those that remember, Krueger is the son of former Hawks coach and current UNLV coach Lon Krueger.

The Flash currently have a 9-7 record and will take on the 15-6 Iowa Energy today at 2:45pm. They will play their second game of the Showcase tomorrow against the Springfield Armor. Tip off for that game is also set for 2:45pm.
