No Josh Smith (knee) or Jason Collins (ankle) on the trip to Indiana and Washington for Atlanta. #Hawks Smith has been playing with a knee injury for some time and Collins twisted an ankle against San Antonio. Collins ankle injury was said to be only mild and he is expected to be ready for the Hawks first round playoff series against Orlando. The knee injury to Josh Smith seems to be more troubling to the forward than he has been letting on and told Cunningham that the swelling he has been dealing with has been going down because of the rest. Smith expects to play next week against Miami MC also reports that coach Drew plans to reduce the starters minutes over the final four games but will stop short of resting any regulars that are healthy. Drew said he doesn't plan to hold his healthy starters out of any of the last four games. "I do think it is important not to just completely shut them down," he said. "I think our approach these last four should be to gain some momentum going into the playoffs." View the full article
